As in enh! If not for doggedness during that month, fear wouldn't have allowed me to buy personally.

It's more of the Nigerian factor we find ourselves in. Even the system is an enemy of progress!
It’s the rule, when it’s more than 5% the circuit breaker is triggered

I jumped out of my Dangcem at 160 last week.
I wan cry today.. 40 upside since last week...

grin grin grin grin

But anyone that entered Dangcem, Zenith and other fundamental stocks will still continue to chop dividend payments and average down if market crashes soon

PE of 3.95 against GTB's 5.6 means Zee is actually still very undervalued even at current prices. To be honest, most of the banks are still undervalued. One of my ogas in investing says that the minimum price Zee should be trading at, based on fundamentals is N38 upwards. But Nigeria is a strange place, so much that a stock that declared N200b pure profit was trading for as low as N11 in March and people were not rushing it. We'll just wait and see what happens
At N11.00 Zenith Bank a company that made profit after tax of over N200 billion was valued at N340 billion by the market

Somehow, but not so.

Tony has less than 10% of UBA , United Capital, APR and about 20% of Transcorp

Took more risk today by jumping into Fidelity @ 3.02 and Unilever @ 15.75... I know it's a risky move. Life is all about risk. My positions in dansugar, ETI, UBA, GSK etc are making me proud though.
OGG thanks for recommending GSK. It was never on my radar.
I hope this will be a good move too. I just need 20% in them o...

Okay, that means the loss at March low was not up to 10% for the circuit breaker to be triggered.

Caverton, Redstarex and Vitafoam have some potential. Atleast 15% on each.

The Circuit Breaker protocol was triggered by the increase of the NSE ASI from 33,268.36 to 34,959.39. The market reopened at exactly 1:25p.m. with a 10-minute intraday auction session, before resuming continuous trading till the close of the day at 2:30p.m.

That's not much

Exactly, I am not sure too.

Just wondering if those full offers then did not take the ASI to a -5% loss for the breaker to be triggered.

Should we expect a pull back tomorrow or day after?
The bull is seriously mad though
Does the ASI want to do 100% before year end ni

There was less transaction volume and frequency to triggered the circuit breaker threshold then

Thanks. That means the big caps stocks could have probably played a role for the ASI not to have had a 5% loss.

Yes I guess so, they just installed it in 2016 or I guess, they just used this to test it lol
Maybe also because of the way the index is weighted, large cap stocks volatility was huge
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ebuka1997: 5:48pm On Nov 12, 2020
Pension fund allocation to equity is part of the factors driving this bull
