Of course Abraham was declared righteous based on the level of his understanding just as Abel, Noah and others were also declared righteous.
But regarding the righteousness through Christ, nobody taught them so they're still coming back to learn that from Christians who are greater than them according to Jesus {Matthew 11:11} they lived by conscience just as our own forefathers who were idol worshipers also lived by conscience but as for the righteousness that's in Christ only Christians know that.
For your information, when Jesus revealed to John that the dead both great and small will be judge by what was written in another book {Revelation 20:12-13} it means the writings in the New Testament, it's what is in this book that will be the bases of judgment whether someone will qualify for everlasting life or not.
By the time Satan and his demons are locked up in the abyss all the dead from Abel to John the Baptist will be resurrected and Christians on earth will teach them what the way, the truth and life taught us. Whoever failed to comply with Jesus' teachings will be destroyed whether Abraham or not because it's only through Jesus' teaching that we can gain everlasting life! Revelation 20:14-15
So Abraham is not in heaven, Jesus spoke in parables, whenever Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are mentioned in connection with heaven, it simply means those in line for resurrection it doesn't mean they are in heaven or going to heaven!
Only born again Christians can go to heaven none of those who never learn the righteousness through Christ Jesus will go to heaven!

Yes Abraham was declared righteous through works based on what he has not seen (FAITH)! {Hebrew 11:1} Abraham's faith was evident in his actions {James 2:21-22} those works are the things observers can see. Matthew 5:13-16

Paul was saying visions regarding what will happen in the body (of Christ) this simply means such a vision is about the Church and out of the body means visions that's about things that doesn't concerns the Church of Christ. Note that whenever Paul mention body he was referring to the Church as one body not you traveling outside your body o! Ephesians 3:6, 4:12; Colossians 3:15
