Due to previous experiences here, I have become wary of several posters praising one particular person. If you go several pages, you will discover that one so-called GRE service provider was praised by several posters only to be discovered to be a fraudster. My apologies to Walspring if he's honest as people opine.

Good morning all.
I applied for international passport since early September, but not out yet even with the extra charges I paid.
My GRE exam date is December 15.
Will I be allowed to use any of these for identification pls?

National identity card

Voter's card

NIMC slip(card not ready yet)

Those are the forms of identification I have presently.
Thanks for your valuable help.

No you won’t. Either you renew your international passport immediately or postpone your exam.[/quote]

I had the same issue, went to my centre to make enquiries. Apparently you will be allowed to use either of the following:
1. National ID card ( not the slip)
2. Driver’s License (Not the temporary)
3. In some cases permanent voters card.

I’ll advise you go to your exam centre to find out before your exam date.

It was written boldly on your test ticket that only valid means of ID for Nigerians is their international passport.

Is likely a new development has come and they have revert back to other means of ID card

I only have one moniker since 2013 that I joined nairaland and I have gone pass creating multiple monikers.
Re: How To Achieve High Scores On The GRE by Walspring: 7:59pm On Nov 13, 2020
To all those that maybe be wondering why Walspring being quoted here and there

The main reason why I told people to post about their sevis payment and GRE/ TOEFL discounted offer registration which is organized by some benevolent guys on the thread is for those who needs assistance and are scared or afraid can be guided not to fall into wrong hands in order to assist and help them.

But many doesn’t understand it that way but thought maybe they do come and post it and thinking they are working for me indirectly so as to lure them inside trap or maybe I have multiple monikers. SMH

I have been on nairaland since 2013 if I am not wrong and a house hold name I have created, I don’t think I should spoil it just because of what won’t add values to my destiny.

Well, you are right to some extent, it is true that cunning persons are on this thread, but I can vouch for @Walspring; he and other well-meaning guys are doing their best to uplift other people.

May God bless them.

Judging from what I've read on this thread, I can say that By Mafit and Ponpon are also credible.

PS: I haven't personally done a registration with them.

Ain’t sure if you can pay directly due to restrictions and limit on card.

But if you want discount offer on GRE and TOEFL you can pm me.

You guys can partake in the discounted offer for GRE and TOEFL organized by some benevolent guys on this group but they just wanted to be anonymous which I stand in gap to help make sure it goes on smoothly.

Please note that it’s all about your choice and not by force.

Am sure and in August it works fine before CBN brought up new policy again and lemme ask you have you tried last month or this month with your card because GTBank card has been deactivated on Paypal when I called and I was told that funny answer and some other banks too. While some banks haven’t deactivate their cards yet.

In addition few people send me email about doing payment that their card doesn’t work and I asked they to link with PayPal and they said the same to me but one said his card is working but has $100 monthly limit and he wanted to pay above $100

No you won’t. Either you renew your international passport immediately or postpone your exam.

For the GRE, your int'l passport is the only acceptable entrance document. Hopefully, your passport comes out before then or you reschedule your exam.

Guys please any ideas about how to write a personal history statement? It seems schools in california demand not just an SOP but also a personal history statement.
Thank you.
Re: How To Achieve High Scores On The GRE by Alexanderfrost: 9:58pm On Nov 22, 2020
Hi TJ,

So you're expected to describe how your background, accomplishments, and life experiences led to your decision to apply for the program. Include any educational, personal, cultural, economic, or social experiences, challenges or opportunities relevant to your academic journey.

You can as well describe any aspects of your personal background, your accomplishments, or achievements that will contrubute to the diversity of the university. Remember, you're a prospective international student, so they want you to be an interesting one.

Tell them why you qualify for the particular study you're applying to, what makes your application stands out and what you intend to achieve during the program. Keep it as detailed yet succinct as possible. At the end of the day, the essay is just to reinforce your other application documents. Best of luck

Guys please, do first generation college attendees have greater chances of admission for doctoral degrees if they indicate it in the application form? Or should I just tell the truth?

Also, should I state the other institutions I have applied to as requested in the application form? Or would it hurt my chances if I state the other schools I have applied to.

More questions to come guys, please kindly assist me.

Guys please, I know the deadline for Fall 2021 application is approaching. I need your advice on safe schools in US to apply to, especially those that give funding? Just took my GRE, had Q162 V165. GPA - 4.05/5. I want to apply for Masters in Electrical Engineering
