I am sure bear doesn't come with indecision.Indicision we see now is the effect of circuit breaker which occured last week.

Heard that Canada and 2 other European countries made a $1 billion and $2.1 billion respective upfront payments to GLAXOSMITKLINE(GSK), PFIZER and JOHNSON & JOHNSON(J&J) for the early provision of covid-19 vaccine to ensure early access on usage.
The 1st coy(GSK) has a subset quoted on the NSE, while the 2nd is affiliated to NEIMETH, another quoted coy on the exchange.

Beyond this though, GSK is grossly underpriced !!

Selah

The text in bold will benefit only GlaxoSmithKline's shares that are quoted on both the London and New York Stock Exchanges, not GSK Consumer Nigeria Plc.

Judging from the volumes and closing, this price falls looks temporal.
GTB refused to fall to day's low of 24 something, so also Zenith, Access, UBA, dangcem and quite a lot of stocks ......
Bids even outweigh offers in GTB.......the market mirror ..

Reversal (up) may occur this week again from the look of things......
Let's see how it goes......

But after buying at 0.56 with AFS figures in the negatives and refusing to sell at 1.02… 1.10… 1.20… 1.30... with AFS figures still in the negatives, and all the people previously trapped waiting to get out, then that individual is a newbie like me.

They might not manufacture vaccines in Nigeria.

Most companies will Import from their parent companies and partners abroad.

There will be signing of MOU with FG through Gsk consumer Nigeria plc and the parent company is there to assist them 100%.

I am seriously waiting for an announcement of covid vaccine in Naija.

For now,The health sector is bullish and will remain bullish till January.

Secondly, the more Neimeth rises,Gsk and Fidson will be forced to rise sharply.

The TA is bullish.

should we still be expecting january bull like this

In view of the recent market rally, many NSE participants and onlookers have been asking if current price levels are justified and if the bullish trend will continue.

Let's consider some salient factors:

A. POSITIVE SIDE - BULLISH EFFECT
1. Treasury Bill and OMO rates: Very low (below 2% p/a); part of the maturing funds will continue to enter the stock market.
2. FPI vs Locals ratio: Uncharacteristically, recent rally is majorly from locals.
3. PFA & corporates: Hunting for better returns, entering the stock market.
4. Local investors: Gradually building up interest in the stock market.
5. Fundamentals: Some companies' share prices are still clearly undervalued e.g. even at N40 per share, Zenith Bank would still have a projected dividend yield of 7% at year end.
6. Long term investors: Many of the local and corporate investors are buying majorly blue-chips, for the long term.
7. Extraneous factors: e.g. Covid-19 vaccine discovery is bullish for healthcare companies, imminent completion of Dangote petrochemicals refinery is bullish for oil and gas companies, etc.

B. NEGATIVE SIDE - BEARISH EFFECT
1. Delayed results, esp. FUGAZ: This makes short-termers nervous, and may precipitate profit-taking.
2. December effect: A lot of people raise money for Christmas/ new year expenses late Nov and early Dec.
3. Year End book-keeping: Some corporates sell down to prepare for 31st Dec closing of their books.
4. Speculators/ Hot money: Many of those entering the market are only hunting short term gains. They will quickly panic and sell at the slightest sign of price reversals.

Overall, I believe our market bull still has some steam left.

See attached data of 5 year Price Range vs Dividend Yields, for some companies....

GSK Nigeria will benefit from whatever happens to the parent company. The parent company own about 60% of the Nigerian subsidiary

A few days ago, VP Osibanjo said one of Nigeria's key priorities will be to get the vaccines. He didn't add more details how they will source for them. Whether they will pick Pfizer, GSK, Sanofi or others, we don't know. If they pick GSK, GSK Consumer Nigeria Plc will benefit.

However, it will be helpful to study several vaccine candidates and the level of their progress.
