It’s really a crazy and frustrating feeling... I am having a similar issue, i spent much of my hours monitoring the reschedule page for an earlier date but nothing positive yet... this is so draining... I call them today as well .. but there is no assurance that getting another MRV and requesting for Emergency that the appointment will be granted.... this so confusing and draining!

You must understand that different categories of people are following this thread. Some are young graduate without much professional experience while others have worked in their field for years b4 going for graduate degree to take their careers to the next level. This transcript focused more on those in healthcare profession and how one may convince the VO based on how his or her job affect human lives. I am sure many of them here knows the transcript is helpful.

What are the paths to remaining in the states after MSc program.

Or is everyone coming back after their program? I want to go to the usa but major intention is to hustle, not with my degree, i mean buying and selling kinda hustle.

I already have a plan of what to do(business) but i want to know if there's a path to remain there before i spend money on school fees. Thanks

1. In your I-20 was it stated that a balance of 3400 would be covered by funds from other source account provided at d pt of filling IVF??

2. Also did the VO ask u 2 provide the accounts statement / bank letters of fund from other source dat will b funding the remaining bal??

1. Yes the i20 showed that the balance will be covered by "Family funds"

2. For ordinary 3,400? Lol no pls, most consular officers won't ask for such a small amt.. Even guys with scholarship of 6k and deficit of over 25k wasn't asked to provide acc statement.. He was asked who's funding d deficit, he stated. VO said ok and turned down the applicants offer to tender acc statement saying it's not necessary.

It may or may not, just depends on the VO who is interviewing. If there is some gap between your last interview and next interview, it might be justifiable. All in all, it is still subjective.

Me: So after I decided I was going to get a master’s degree, I carried out my research online using some academic websites. I saw over 10 schools that I met their requirements & applied to Western & 6 others. I chose Western because of my interest in an ongoing research by Prof D. on software quality models for the evaluation of software products. I’m highly interested in this research because it aligns with my career goal of becoming a software developer. As a software developer, I need to ensure that the overall functionality & features of a software product I’ll build for my clients meet their expectations, so this research seeks to measure the various software quality models that would best fit any software I want to build in order to get a perfect quality software void of bugs. God came through for me today. No docs were asked, the odds were against me but He did His wonders. I won’t stop thanking Him.

I won’t fail to thank Texrem. It was just 1 mock I had with him that he told me to change my response to why this school, he even gave me a pattern to follow & asked that I get back to him immediately, lol. Congrats WIU is a nice school, graduated from WIU in 2012 you ll enjoy Macomb small college town and small city feel. If you like the fast life you have 4hr amtrack train ride to Chicago 2 departures daily and you can enjoy the big city feel for the weekend. Lot of Nigerians while i was there, african student group was cool as well, free bus ride and they have a nice international student neighbor program.
