No. I'm a second time applicant.

Good evening all.

To persons who have received the NSE letter, did anyone use a Sponsor and got the letter?

How does one meet the requirement of "30k CAD in your account for at least 6 months" when using a sponsor?

Will the Sponsor’s SOA suffice for this requirement or it must be the applicants account?

I didnt see anything close to that. My dad said I should draft it and he would sign. So I dont know whether to take it to court for it to be notarized or what I'm I to do?
Scroll down, u gonna see "father letter of Sponsorship" in Blue Color (PDF FILE), click on it and download it...

Your Sponsor (Dad) can sign on it or not, so its not compulsory u print it out for him to sign cos his full name gonna be in the ending of the Letter, but if u wish to Print it for him to sign, u can go ahead.

U don't need to notarize the Letter Of Sponsorship, the soft copy without printing is okay, or the one u printed and has his signature appended to it is okay.

Hello gurus,
What are the chances of getting a Canadian study permit after US study visa has been denied four(4) times? I'm a genuine student but it seems US is just doing anyhow, so I wanna do the same biotechnology program at UWindsor for Fall 2021. Same sponsor(dad), but now, he intends to put all the fees in my account for about 2months before application, and I will still submit his personal and corporate bank statements.

-Presently in community pharmacy practice, and I intend to get a leave letter, although salary is jst around 90k. In my LOE, I plan to write that I will come back to my job while I search for better opportunities in multinationals like Novartis or Pfizer.

-Last US denial was earlier dis Nov 2020, applying to Canada for Fall 2021.

BSc Biochem 2017 and bin working since December 2018, datz where I work till date.

-Not married, No kids, in my mid 20's

I see posts of people sending multiple mails regarding their passports. I will urge you guys to calm down before the multiple complaints go affect you. Mind you, yes you have approved on your portal but that doesnt mean it cant change. Make una take am easy o. A visa is a privilege not a right. I know you must have waited 4-3weeks since submitting your passports but if you could wait for corona lockdown, wait for VFS to open, wait for AIP, to wait for the ultimate approval shouldnt be a big deal.

I don't think any application will be rejected because of "too many emails". As long as it's a polite email requesting for status, there is no harm there. We shouldn't peddle fears. At worst, they'll just stop replying you or tell you to stop sending mails concerning the subject matter. Your point on patience, however, is good.

But you can simply make use of the guide in the link at the Notary public or Courts in your area (Abuja), the steps there are not restricted to LAGOS only

The fact that the e mail of big shots are available to public doesn't mean All manner of complaints are channelled to him. It's a Nigeria factor thing of escalation to superiors to prevail on juniors. These people have built their country on a decent basis. If you want to contact the big shots , let it be for something major. Imagine all visa people yet to get passports all sending him mail when the people at VFS have a laid out policy to follow. For all you know, he may not be monitoring the e mail personally. It is a privilege not right. That's why People can still be turned back at point of entry. Hi Frank, good evening.

Please, can you possibly ask on our behalf if Nigeria Student Express would accept funding letters in place of the mybankstatement certificate. Or if it is specifically for self-funding students. I have messaged Lagos and Abuja Visa offices, and I am yet to get any response at all, except for automated emails.

Don't display this overzealousness if you get to any civilized country. Leave it with you at MMA. You ain't the first to get visa. And your language was harsh to Anon123. You want to show film, and are looking for support. Why don't you go to VFS alone and remind them you paid for it so they should expedite service for you. Your tone was uncalled for

I dkdnt want to comment on this but I think it's about time. Some people come on to this forum to inject fear into those that do their best to get their applications processed as fast as possible. Yeah Blavkmann went a little harsh but which one is "that doesn't mean they can't change it"That statement was so so so wrong. How can someone get admitted, get docs, apply for visa, do medicals, biometrics and submit passport and just because he sends multiple mails your mode of advice is to scare them with such a huge deal. Some of us have started classes already, our courses are dense, too dense to study online without total privacy, high bandwidth and better resources. Some of us are getting our grades screwed, trying the best means to get out and straighten them up. It's on this same forum that some people gave testimony of application finalization after multiple webforms, mails and calls. You can't jump on here to cool people down with fear or deceleration. Have you met anyone whom they rejected due to webforms?

One more thing is you cant just be using your own reality to be measuring people's success. You re asking someone not to be overzealous when they get to a civilized country. You dare call people living during the worst Nigerian period ever period ever? Just because he joked and pointed out their inefficiencies and talked about showimg film? See ehn, no be everybody get luxury of comfort or time like Una o, so make una no dey tackle people say dem dey radiate their vex. who no like am make he chop mortar.

Following what Kimkalash said, I think Nigerians fear too much. We live in a society where people can mark you down if you talk too much or you complain or you are too loud. We believe in witches and wizards ruining our destiny. Many of us can't even tell our own siblings that we are applying for visas because we feel it will attract bad luck. It's a Nigerian psyche.

I'm giving an antithesis to what MadeMan01 has proposed. Nigerian gra gra is basically to suffer in silence and then make noise when nothing can be done or make noise when we can simply talk. I have never left my fate to chance for once and I do whatever I can to fast track things for myself. If that means sending a mail to Justin Trudeau himself, I would. I have never seen anybody being denied visa because they sent multiple emails. Visa decisions are not based on extraneous factors. They are based on what you submitted and what the VO thought at that time. Once your application is approved, only admissibility factors can affect you and sending multiple emails to whoever is definitely not a ground for inadmissibility.

On a general note, almost of us here want to go to Canada. Canadians do not suffer in silence. A Canadian will not allow the Nigerian embassy treat them like trash because they want visas. A Canadian would not allow himself to be psychologically tortured during online classes because she doesn't have a visa yet. These are things many of us are tolerating. Ranting a little would make them understanding our pain. When I sent my emails, I didn't insult anybody. If you are the recipient sef, you will start feeling sorry for me. So far, all my emails have yielded fruit and like I said before, even if it means mailing Justin Trudeau or the Governor General of Canada (or even the Queen of Canada herself) just to get results, I would. Who nor like am, make e nor send e own. It's not by force.

In my online class, an Indian mate couldn't get a required book and he didn't say anything until it was almost too late. I told him to mail the professor to protest and he did. Guess what? The professor secured a scanned copy of the book for him and also gave him an extension to do his book report. A Nigerian may have left that to chance and failed because he feels it's even a privilege for him to study in Canada and he shouldn't disturb the professor with emails. Nigerians, soro soke o!

USA visa denial doesn't have any direct impact on your Canada application. However, make sure you declare all rejection as appropriate.

On a practical note, USA visa requirement is different from that of Canada. So do yourself a great help by understanding and familiarizing yourself with the do's and don't of Canadian Study visa to enable you submit an approval worthy application.

Goodluck!

But I feel it doesn't worth anyone to abuse another person on whatever suggestion made by anyone so far it wasn't directed to a particular name.

Bringing suggestions on mails sending in its content isn't a bad idea even as passport has been requested.
(Does it mean everyone's intention is basically about schooling? We are all guilty of trying to run away maybe)- patience is a virtue.

Even if intentions are pure to go study, visa is a privilege and not a right in truth speaking.
Visa grant doesn't even mean anyone cannot be denied entry (so many factors)

We all believe whites (oyinbo) are God and are very holy.. we are enslaved in so many ways even as they look so good to us.

Let us be reasonable with one another..

Patience is a virtue, as we have all waited for months, then a month of wait for passport return shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think I should be mentioned here since you started with the idea of abusing another person. Anon123 and I didn't abuse ourselves. He made a point and I felt his point is alright but he shouldn't have added fear mongering to it and I reacted appropriately. Consequently, he noted my point and that was the end.

Similarly, I agree with your point concerning patience. It is actually the only option now and even multiple emails may not make a lot of difference apart from creating awareness of an applicant's unique circumstance. However, I am vehemently against creating fear where there is none. I repeat myself here for the sake of clarity: no application will be rejected because of "too many emails". I have seen people who sent two mails per day for weeks and that didn't affect their applications. They were ultimately ignored and didn't get replies.

Once you get OPR or PPR, these are the things that can lead to rejection:
1. Detected misrepresentation
2. Fake passport
3. Lack of documentation at POE
4. Failure to answer any relevant question(s) at POE

The white man is not a god but he works according to strict rules. If you are on your right and you have not done anything untoward, you have nothing to fear.

Every applicant should be patient. Canada is not for the impatient at all. However, do not fear to speak up if you have a unique case that demands attention. Nobody will deny you a visa even if you send a mail to every one in Canada every day. Just make sure you are sending such a mail because it is necessary and not because of anything else. Above all else, be polite in every mail you send.

Thanks for your input, don’t get me wrong though I know this journey takes a lot of patience and I am also not trying to be too hung up on this visa application processing, but like I said from you own experience what do you think? Today makes it 77 days of no communication from IRCC and that’s quite worrisome. I just had to do my medicals (last week) on my own volition.
I fully understand that people have gone five months or so, but if I had something like AIP or so atleast I would be at rest, but with this, I am in the dark... and now I am at crossroads do I defer (deferment deadline for my school is dec 9th) or I just continue the journey and be optimistic.
