I didn’t receive any fail pick up fee, it’s so sad.we had issue earlier, which I vowed not to pick up for him again but he came back to me to pick up this particular laptop. I told him seller ask me to meet him around 5:30 in the evening and he said OK. I’m in New Jersey and seller is in New York. He even text me to remind me about the pick up. Which I drove 1hr:20 minutes to pick up the item( he message me when I was 10 minutes away from the seller not to pick up the item again, which I told him have paid toll to enter New York already). MY POINT OF SAYING THIS IS TO CREATE AWARENESS FOR PICKERS!!!! DONT EVER PICK UP ITEM FOR ANYONE EXCEPT YOU RECEIVE YOUR FULL TLC MONEY!!! If I had done that I won’t be in the center Of this mess. It’s going to 3 weeks now and he had refused to pay for the laptop or paid my failed pick up. I WONT FORCE YOU TO PAY THE FAILED PICK UP FEE BUT REMEMBER Internet don’t forget oooo.

I told you the failed pick up is 60$ and you told me we agreed on 50$ which I told you “pay what you have “ thinking you would pay the 50$. Toll payments to enter New York from New Jersey compulsory is 20$, what about the gas money for 1hr20 minutes journey. I’m still stuck with the “LAPTOP” . Doing business with you have always been a pain in the butt, I have done millions of naira transactions with people here without no single issue. I wish other will learn from this whole situation. ‌I purchased 4 pieces of hp elitebook laptops from hotdealz on the 31st of October. He clearly stated that the laptops were neat and of good condition. But when the laptops were delivered, they were not as he had described. Three out of the four laptops are rough and one was broken. He (hotdealz) claimed that the roughness was as a result of package issues during delivery and then refused to take responsibility for deceiving me with different images of the laptops. I tried to sell off the laptops but they are just too rough to sell.
‌All I want is for him to refund my money. I have proofs of the what he claimed that he sent and what was delivered. Please note that this isn't the first time that I'll be doing business with him.

You have all the red lights from your previous deal with hotdealz, still you wouldn't be cautious. I wouldn't know your reason tho.
Your previous deal with him had issues(which was not completely resolved and very similar to the present one), yet you keep approached him for "more"

Also, I don't think asking a seller to deliver an unsealed item to a third party (who u can't even ask to check for you) is right. This should be avoided. I tell my buyers that bring this option dt my responsibility as a seller ends the moment I deliver to your person. Infact, I would rather bear from the delivery cost if it was the reason for making buyer to want item delivered to a third party.
I started doing ds when a third party started using a phone he was just meant to receive o. A mint phone got minor scuffs from him(u know village people's handiwork na ) . When buyer received it, he started baseless allegations, but thank God for detailed pictures and videos of item before delivery. Third party later opened up sha.

So, It should be from seller to logistics coy to buyer. This way, tracing issues will be easier.

Given hotdealz antecedents, the laptops should be returned to him while you have a partial refund(maybe 80% of total costs). This isn't your first deal gone wrong with him which wasn't even handled to conclusion. Same motto no suppose jam person twice for the same spot.
If you had allowed him to waybill to you straight, delivery would have been his biz, as a seller and you could have asked him to go drag (his) delivery coy the moment he indicted logistics. The case would have been fairer to push for a full refund.

Normally you pay half the agreed pickup price, at times self you may pay less depending on your relationship with the picker. Imagine Donaltus is saying I pay $60, I was shocked. 1.) To each picker their own rule.

2.) An agreement prior to the pickup.

Seeing as this wasn’t a straightforward pickup, there were tolls crossed hence toll fees were involved which from his explanation he must have briefed you before setting out. He wouldn’t have set out if you didn’t agree.

You not fulfilling your part of the bargain is a breach in agreement bro. There are no sentiments involved in this; it’s just logic.

Quite a few people have had issues with ChisomK9 ,some have had complaints about his items and some deals has gone smoothly without issues. Be as it may, he was blacklisted because of the frequent issues he had with his buyers, same for kulkid, twinskenny and others. A time frame was set to remove their names from the blacklist after a period of time. Your names will be removed in due time. Everyone should exercise patience. You didn’t do your job well cos if you did, the matter wouldn’t have gotten to dispute resolution thread.
Point to note, handle your businesses well. A number of people will be blacklisted soon enough and I believe it will be a joint decision like the previous blacklisted names.
