In that two years, you've never brought up the issue of her starting a business or acquiring a skill. When such relationship ends now, the guy will come to Nairaland and rant about how she didn't help his life and business. As if he helped hers.

I agree with the OP, for the most part.
Most of the girls I have met can't hold a decent conversation to save their lives.

And not just online. Even in person, too.
There's no depth, which is really sad.

For online convos, I agree that attraction is a key factor i.e. She'll probably put in more effort if she's attracted to you, but the numbers don't look good for the ladies on this own.

Such happens because most girls are retarded. All they know is big brother and telemundo. As a girl, its good you imbibe the culture of reading books, books that spans across different perspective of life(dont read from ur phone, buy the hard copy, have a mini library) so that you can contribute in intelligent conversations.Reading broadens your exposure. I was discussing with a girl last week, trying to tell her how i think ancient inca civilization is way too overhyped, and she was just looking at me like a goat. As a girl learn how to contribute to discussions spanning politics, history, business(especially stock market stuffs and share subscription) and even religion, develop a passion, set goals for urself. It makes your existence worthwhile

There are ladies/girls who can hold such discourse, maybe you are not meeting the right or such girls. I do meet them and have them on my contact list. Another reason could be your association/class stratum/circle - I am not saying you are poor but for you to meet such girls, it means you are in the same level as she is. So, since they exist, how come you are not seeing/meeting them? It means you have to change your circles.

I'm curious. How does the conversation go? Do you ask questions that will lead to more in-depth conversation? I'm not just talking about, "How was your night?" and "Have you eaten?" In my experience, this a problem is something both men and women experience.
