Saying nobody is boring to me is absurd, even if they're into you they just can't hold meaningful conversation. Had an experience from my ex, I know she loves me from her actions. But our conversation was only one sided, cause I initiate all the conversation from inception and all she does is reply. Told her why she said that's how she is. There are girls(guys)who can't hold conversation even if they are into you and vice versa I'm trying to agree with you o, but I doubt if I've ever met any person I can term "boring." Everyone has that particular topic that tickles their fancy. It doesn't have to be history, thermodynamics, or programming languages. It could be entertainment or celebrity talks. 1 Like |

[s]You're right.
Like it's not just "Nigerian girls" that the guys in this section talk about. The issue is not peculiar to any gender. We still have boys who can not hold intelligent conversations. The only thing they know how to talk about is the number of girls they've been with. Ask them questions about their state of origin, and watch them fumble.
It's not like I'm saying that Nigerian girls are perfect, but the way guys here sound like there's no lady in Nigeria who has something good to offer is so annoying.
Both genders need to work on themselves. Instead of the whole bashing and rantings, guys should also work on themselves.
They complain about constant billing. Crazy. You've been with a girl for two years and all you do is take care of her bills and call her to come whenever you're in your heat period. In that two years, you've never brought up the issue of her starting a business or acquiring a skill. If the girl is not intelligent enough to do all of that for herself, you're her boyfriend and partner, help her out. Let her tap from your well of intelligence.
When such relationship ends now, the guy will come to Nairaland and rant about how she didn't help his life and business. As if he helped hers.
Like I said, both genders need serious work. The rate at which Nigerian boys want relationship to be about you bringing your body and them bringing their money is also getting scary.
About the conversation aspect. It's only in physics that like charges do not attract. In life, you only attract your kinds.
In my opinion, if you keep meeting unintelligent ladies, then you also need to work on yourself and the kind of places you go to. You can't go to strip clubs and expect the ladies who came there to have fun to start discussing politics and current affairs with you [/s]
I come in peace. Gibberish |

I agree with the OP, for the most part. Most of the girls I have met can't hold a decent conversation to save their lives.
And not just online. Even in person, too. There's no depth, which is really sad.
For online convos, I agree that attraction is a key factor i.e. She'll probably put in more effort if she's attracted to you, but the numbers don't look good for the ladies on this own.
I'm not hating or throwing shade. I'm just sayin'.
As far as conversations go, there isn't a lot a guy can do with "k" and "lol." And don't get me started on one word replies. They're a different kind of frustrating.
I don't know if it's because they don't have anything interesting to say, or they're just not willing to make the effort.
These days, once I get the feeling that the conversation isn't going to fly, I slowly vanish. |

I was trying to be a bit sarcastic. I didn't want to sound too serious. I know the kind of guys we have here. Well said? Thanks a bunch. I'm glad I finally found someone in the same lane as me. My dear...stop deceiving your species.... Nigerian girls are simply not intelligent(not all though), they are only skilled at keeping multiple boyfriends... nothing intelligent about them....
Even when they are the ones to start a conversation, they can't keep up..as in how many girls can talk about politics, sports, current affairs, business,,,,how many??
Writing " textbook legit replies " is not intelligence, it could just be a truckload of jargons .... Nothing interesting about them ...you just have to try and keep up....All you hear them talk about is this guy ,that guy, those guys... Guys guys guys... nothing else.... And for Your information, billing a guy is not the best way to get rid of him( you can simply ignore him) it's a sign of desperation , self worthlessness and an attempt to see if he will fall for it . Girls really need to change, its getting to a scary stage...
Ciao I owe you a bottle of anything you drink. SPOT ON. |

shantti: Such happens because most girls are retarded. All they know is big brother and telemundo. As a girl, its good you imbibe the culture of reading books, books that spans across different perspective of life(dont read from ur phone, buy the hard copy, have a mini library) so that you can contribute in intelligent conversations.Reading broadens your exposure. I was discussing with a girl last week, trying to tell her how i think ancient inca civilization is way too overhyped, and she was just looking at me like a goat. As a girl learn how to contribute to discussions spanning politics, history, business(especially stock market stuffs and share subscription) and even religion, develop a passion, set goals for urself. It makes your existence worthwhile There are ladies/girls who can hold such discourse, maybe you are not meeting the right or such girls. I do meet them and have them on my contact list. Another reason could be your association/class stratum/circle - I am not saying you are poor but for you to meet such girls, it means you are in the same level as she is. So, since they exist, how come you are not seeing/meeting them? It means you have to change your circles. 1 Like |
