In as much as I love my system, I can't trade human being to it especially my love ones( girlfriend inclusive). If my girlfriend is sick, and it requires selling my PC to get her back on her feet. I would do that without thinking twice. Things when lost can be gotten back but not human being.

Back to topic. I stand with lappy over babe. It is an unconscious thing till you are encountered with a 'your laptop or me?' question. Most programmers will choose giving their laptop attention over their female lover. For the sake of balancing, it flows both ways from female programmers to male lovers as well. Unless you are in that realm, you may never understand.
