The budget is alot. For 5 people i know but it’s 2 adults and 3 children.
Just find cheap flights, hotel accommodation for d 5 of u as u can stay in one room, they hve rooms with double beds or so that cater for family and then little money ontop for feeding.
Remove what u budgeted for shopping, it is not ECO’s business and is not compulsory
It is a tourist visa, there’s no where it is stated that u must have travel budget in millions. When u get the visa and decide to spend 5 million or 7 million then u re free.

U will need a new bank statemnt, i dnt see a 3 months old bank statemnt as reasonable for u to use. It is old.
Okay. Thank you very much.

Nevermind your refusal, there is always a learning curve. My first application was refused too despite my travel history to USA, Canada, Schengen area and Saudi Arabia. Because I didn't explain the lodgement of cash into my account I was refused. I mastered their requirements with finance and within last two months I got Visa approved my family (5 nos) and another 5 Visas for friends and their family. ( am not an agent) .
For what to put as expenses just be moderate with money. 2.5 times your disposable income is good. God will see you through.

Disposable income is monthly salary - monthly expenses. ie. What you earn in a month minus what u spend in a month equals your disposable income.

Hello everyone,
A friend applied for UK visit visa using self-service and yesterday night, he erroneously submitted his documents without adding his cover letter. What is the solution going forward? His biometrics is in 2 days.

Good afternoon everyone.
I just got to know about this disposable income stuff after I finished my biometric and it has been bothering me.
Monthly Income after tax= ₦330,127
Monthly expenses= ₦130,000
Disposable income= ₦200,000
Balance in savings account= ₦1,970,000
My approximate estimated travel expenses for 18 days are as follows:
1. Airline ticket [with return ticket] = ₦280,000
2. Accommodation = ₦282,212
3. Living expenses = ₦102,191
TOTAL = ₦664,403 which is a little bit more than 3X my disposable income as against a maximum of 2X being preached here.
I am going for PLAB 2 Exam (foreign licensing exam for doctors) and I submitted the necessary documents to back this up.
No shady credits in my bank statement.
Please do I still stand a chance to get the visa or the ECO will query the disposable income stuff?

Well, as an alternative u can try the German route. Fly to Frankfurt with Lufthansa and onwards to Bridgetown with Eurowings(which is also owned by Lufthansa). U can apply for Schengen transit visa which is easier to get than UK.

You spent more funds than you declared.

Repackage your expenses to align your objectives in next application

I am really bothered about this.
But I have submitted so I just want to hope for the best.

In this world nothing is certain in life except death. You will not be able to do anything if you continue to fear rejection. Rejection / failure is part of journey to success.

If you are travelling on a Nigerian passport, you will not need a visa to enter Barbados but there is no direct flight form Nigeria then you will need transit visa (UK, US or Canada).

Back to your question:
1. Get a support letter from your husband, his bank statement, your marriage certificate and detailed cover letter. Also include your kids birth certificate and family photos.
2. As per the 3 million naira in your bank statement - You will need a proper explanation because they might see this as a lodgment just to get visa.
3. Why don't you apply from Dubai since you claimed you and your hubby live over there? Include your Dubai work permit.

If I were you I will apply for regular visa instead of transit visa.
