Is something brewing here or normal end of year pumping?

Was mentioned here sometimes ago @2.30/2.32......that it seems there are unusual activities there based on from observation.

**Just market observation**

I've mentioned Lasaco tired here as a penny stock.....since the time it was trading at 25kobo.
Quite a lot of activities there today. You may keep eye on it.
Mansard was discussed here too.......below N1.
NEM below 1.50/1.60...........Nem is a N2+/N3 stock on a good day. You can see that shareholders are not even willing to release it at markdown/current price.

Thanks. Merry Christmas and compliments of the season

Thanks for this. Do you think one can benefit capital gains by buy Mansard now? I am still trying to understand the whole reconstruction process.

it is too late to buy now, the price has moved over 50%. i see the price droping seriously after 31st December.

If our gamble is right, it will go higher or it will be frozen and released when market pumping starts in January.

The price hasn't moved by 50%.

The price might drop after bonus distribution .

You are very very valuable here, at least to me. The one stock on my portfolio that is not going well(abctrans at 0.36) is the one I bought before I started asking questions here.
I guess I did out of sentiments of traveling season, but it seems the thing is not working like that.

Chief the price has moved more than 50%.

the mark down price was 64k
it close yesterday at N1.05k
if you do the maths that is 64% (1.05-.64)= .41/.64=64%.

The price will start dropping from 31st December because that when they will distribute the bonus.

Oh, I got 0.97k from Broker,
but NSE site is showing 1.05.

I load more after 31st, and sell after reconstruction.

Thanks

OBAGADAFFI:

AXAMANSARD:
Your previous calculation was wrong as you were told.

As it is now, the post bonus price = 0.64kobo (share price marked down already)

Post reconstruction price will be multiplied by 4.
This will depend on the closing share price of Mansard a day before the reconstruction takes effect.

Share reconstruction will take effect on 9th February, 2021
For instance: If Mansard closed at N1 by February 8th 2021, the price will be multiplied by 4 and Mansard will open on 9th February as N4

TABLE 3:
No of shares held pre-reconstruction (or no. of shares post bonus issuance) (E) 3,840
Post bonus share price (F) ₦0.64
Value of shares (3,840 shares @ N0.64) (G) = E*F ₦2,457.60
No. of shares held post reconstruction - Basis 1 for every 4 (H) = E/4 960
Share price post reconstruction (I) = F*4 ₦2.56
Value of shares (960 shares @ N2.56) = (J) = H*I ₦2,457.60

Note: the actual price post reconstruction will depend on the closing price, prior to the day, the reconstruction is effected.

I got what you're trying to say here.

Some investors won't wait for reconstruction before disposing off their holdings once bonuses are added by 31st, thereby crashing the share price.

I think this is where bargain hunters should set their traps.
Once support is sighted after the assumed heavy selloff, then you key-in at cheaper price, then wait for reconstruction/post reconstruction period.
Those not yet in the bus but willing to give it a trial can join here.

We however can't categorically say that there will or there won't be heavy sell off.
Some may use the opportunity to buy more shares and increase their holdings, then wait for reconstruction to take place.

We see how it goes.........
