My Oga we MIGHT be surmounting both resistance this time around (unlike 2014 and 2018) however the ride would be quite VOLATILE and BUMPY. Also the time frame wld be a little stretched. My thesis rest on twin factor of big caps listed within the last up (2018) and now (e.g MTN / AIRTEL/ BUA) and the fact that the world is just at the START of resurgence / recovery from a Global hit (Covid 19) with more leg room to UP and its attendant spillover into our market.

Alright. Appreciate the feedback.

It's okay then. Thought you again jumped in higher.

As for Wapco and BUA, you can't draw up conclusion just like that....many factors to consider.
They may be in same sector but with different analysis, sentiments, factors that can push them at different times, etc.
Wapco has done so well by moving from 8.85/9.00 to N25.......then back to 21.....that's over 100% ........the stock will need a trigger to again move the bus.
Remember Wapco just came out of the wood too.......think patience is required here.

Meanwhile, my friend in the Presidency just told me that plans are underway to start taxing capital gains on NSE stocks as from next year. This Buhari is a funny guy.

Capital Gains Tax is in the Nigerian Tax Laws. Every nation in the world taxes capital gains. Nigeria has the lowest tax receipts as a percentage of gdp even among West African countries by a very wide margin. We want government services but do not want to pay taxes. Would the money come from the air? We cannot continue to use the excuse of corruption to resist taxes.

Cost of fuel per litre is on the rise.....
Cost of Electricity is on the rise even when it is available...
We are paying for high rate of data to connect to brokers...
Stockbrokers commission on the increase....
Stamp Duties was recently increased....
Unemployment rate at 27% which we know its understated...
Inflation rate is at 12.88%
Let them continue with their CGT on our tasere stocks....
Most of us are gradually moving our portfolio to abroad...
Their brain will reset when they see...
low patronage of Nigerian Stocks...
Presidency dont know we have alternatives.
Very lazy set of leaders

The excuse of corruption to resist taxes is a VERY good excuse. Keep paying taxes so our sh*thead politicians can continue looting and buying mansions in Banana Island for their 22-year old girlfriends
