Your dad's gangster man.... My dad still smokes weed too and he is in his 60s too.. I think he is the only one that can decide if he wants to quit or not...

I went to a friend's place two weeks ago he smokes weed every morning, I decided to join him daily what I noticed

Please I noticed a disturbing scenario playing in my house as I came back for xmas... My 67yr old dad use to smoke weed (Igbo) in our sitting room.

When we were younger, he use to smoke outside and occasionally smokes around the house especially late in the night or in the wee hours.

As a matter of fact I'm 30yrs and I have another younger brother who's 27yrs then my sister who's the youngest. But Non of us smoke weed or have toed in his line... My mother has tried in that aspect not to raise us like that!!!

I brought this issue here because I need help on how to make my aging dad DESIST from that lifestyle... It breaks my heart seeing him popping smoke like that and it's degrading when we have visitors in the house... And secondly I'm wary of his health!!!

Pls help a Brother!!!

My sincere opinion is that you should let him smoke his weed in peace. Weed is far better than all the alcohol and brands of cigarettes you know. It is backward country like Nigeria that still see smoking weed as bad. It has been legalized in most of the advanced world. At 67, he won't die from weed anymore.

If u are comfortable and can afford it, get him a therapist, Psychologist to be precise. If u can't, just let him be. Even if a therapist is involved, it may not eradicate it, it "may" just reduce it.

Weed isn't bad especially as the old man eats a lot too (weed actually increases appetite for food). Stopping your dad from smoking his kush is what could actually kill him. Man's been smoking a long time now, leave him to enjoy. There's something about smoking kush you non smokers won't understand.

It's a lifestyle which he consciously chose on his own.
Everyone knows marijuana is addictive if abused, so if one decides to abuse it, one knows he's likely to get addicted.
He made that decision to start using marijuana on his own, knowing its addictive tendency.
