What is wrong with their ticket is...

1) Their government will not give me 24Hours Electricity

2) Their government will not improve our education system

3)Their government will not guaranty me employment after finishing from school.

4) Their government will not give me security.

5)Their government will not stop corruption.

6)Their government will not change Nigeria from being the poverty capital of the world.

As a sorosoke youth, I won't vote based on popularity/party/tribe, I would vote based on your ability to do the job.

The south east demands presidency if actually the British determined civil war stated no victor no vanquished. Or else civil war2 may be one of the many options if you remember how Igbo's rejected slavery in Maryland and Virginia.

The entire country has agreed that the Southeast and the Northeast are the two most disadvantaged regions when it comes to producing leaders of the country.

The neglect suffered by Northeast can be seen in Boko Haram ravaging the region and in Southeast in IPOB demanding secession.

If that's the case therefore, 2023 should be earmarked for dousing the tension of marginalization in these two regions.

And being that Buhari is a northerner, commonsense, equity, fairness and the need for national cohesion demands that power should come to South, nay Southeast.

Now, in the Southeast, Umahi would be APC's best bet with his trailblazing performance in Ebonyi with little resources, he beats a corrupt Orji Uzor Kalu or an imbecilic Okorocha hands down.

Then pair him with another trailblazer in the Northeast, Umaru Zulum. A man that has demonstrated intelligence, his belief in merit, a builder and a detribalized northerner.

It's a simple calculation that Zulum would succeed Umahi in 2031 to make up for Northeastern quest for power.

What issue do you have with this calculation?

Because after Obasanjo and Osinbajo's 8 years apiece as President and Vice President of this country, Osinbajo, Fayemi, Tinubu or anyone from Southwest has no business with the presidency in 2023.
what is wrong is dat umahi is Igbo ND igbos will never rule nigeria

so Umahi, and his associate... they both want to eat from where they did not sow ba the lgbos, that did not support APC right from 2015 even up to date... so they want to use APC now to become president south south, south east they are for PDP, they better go back to PDP and do whatever they want to do there, because there is no room for igbos south south, south east in APC..... presidency is going back to southwest neither you like it or you leave it.

Umahi lacks character. He will definitely have to do without my support. So far, the only men from the South east I can support are Peter Obi and Kingsley Moghalu. Maybe the South east should present other options people could select from.

The South west doesn't deserve the office but if they field Akinwunmi Adesina I may have a change of heart.

Apart from Zulum's zeal to deal with Boko Haram and uplift his people not much is known about him. His thinking when it comes to economic policies is very important. That's one of the reasons Nigeria suffers from the current predicament.

When it comes to policy I know where Atiku stands, that's a plus for him but a big minus is how he handles public assets.

2023 is likely going to be the North east or South east. I think politicians from both zones in all the political parties should form a united front to actualize their dream.

Lol, u can only insert an imaginary Easterner on APC ticket if they deserve it but obviously they needed to ask for presidency in PDP where they av pledged their Loyalty, it's time for reward. It's even a shame for ndigbo to demand for presidency under APC, it's totally absurd.

Zulum don't deserve the ticket yet... the north has a way of playing this game politics, if you check properly the North started bringing Zulum into lim light gradually for this day (2023). are there no better people in the west, south and east. The north will always make you see good in one of their own, They have been jeopardising with the innocent lives just for Zulum, to retain APC, too bad

Sad as it sounds, what you said is the bitter reality One Nigeria Igbos are yet to come to terms with. We keep telling them that it will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle than for a Yaruba or Ab0ki to thumbprint for an Igbo man in any Zoo elections

PDP zoned the ticket to South and Ekweme lost to Obasanjo. AD was a regional party of Yoruba and automatically their ticket was given to a Yoruba man.

No major party would do microzoning. It is either North or South.

A serious piece of advice for the Igbo:

Establish and nurture a regional party like your APGA. Ensure that it wins the governorship of all your five states. There and then you can bargain from the position of strength (and not this begging you are doing now). This was the approach of the political grandmasters from the south west. You need to learn from Tinubu not this hating on him because he did not cause your political misfortune. For now, the Igbo can not be on the ballot of any big political party. Definitely, an Igbo man will be the candidate of APGA.

I wish you the best as you seek political relevance in Nigeria.

2023 should be the turn of South East, but since something is not alright, we will be behind anyone from the north, we have to redeem our image.

2023 elections is going to be a do or die affair, should incase south east did not contest for Presidential election, we south east will do everything possible to redeem a northern Presidential candidate

South west does not exist as far as 2023 election is concerned, they will not see any vote from South east and south south, as I said earlier, there's image to redeem, all the insults south east and south south have received from South West would be settled during 2023 elections, a lesson needs be taught.

We will rather vote and support a Goat or a Cow from the North than to support anyone from South West, since they don't want to support us, we will never support them, this is South East Youth Wing decision, remember we are in Democracy, Government of the people, by the people and for the people.

It seems the south west have given up getting a pdp ticket.
All the yoruba eggs are now in the apc basket.

No wonder, a lot of hostility from that part of the country with regards to the apc.

If you an Igbo and you are saying this then you should be ashamed. The Yorubas when compared with Igbos, invest in the APC so they have right to hold onto it as if their life depends on it. the question you should have been asking yourself is why are the Igbo people have sudenly become so interested in APC presidential ticket after their long time investment in PDP as well as hatred for the APC?
They ruined PDP and now they want to come and feed from where they have not worked.
Let them put heads together and rebuild their favorite political party, PDP
