Reacting to pictures of the traditional marriage shared on Twitter, a Twitter user, @TheOliviaLife stated that the marriage of the young lady with the old man was arranged by the lady's people after the man who Impregnated the lady absconded.

She wrote;

"Nope. The girl is pregnant and the person that impregnated her has absconded so her people arrange with an old man to come and marry her so that she can give birth under his protection and the child will answer his name.
