A duplex was built from start to finish within 3 weeks in Oguta. It was even built on a totally demolished building, not on land

bros its a lie. It takes approximately 21days for concrete to cure after casting before block work will continue on the upper floor.

very possible coz a house close to my former area was built in about a month and it actually looks bigger than this one, plus they didn't work at night. I'll only recommend you pay the brick layers based on counting bases instead of daily pay and use more people where necessary.

This is exactly what my site engineer advised and it worked perfectly. If you pay them daily the output will be minimal as many of the labourers will just be fooling around till the end of the day but when they are paid based on each block completed they are motivated because they know the more blocks they can account for the more money they make that day.

In Delta state, there is something called "Deve" which Is a short form of development levy.
Deve boys don hold you before?
In a project we handled in Jeddo near warri refinery, the owner has paid almost 300k.
In Ughoton community, cut off payment is 250k circa.
In okwagbude along sapele road, their development levy is 50k.

These guys are basically fishermen in their country....

They are proficient in tiles, bricklaying, screeding and german floors..

Remember always buy your materials yourself especially wires, electrical fittings and plumbing materials.

I repeat use cotonou or Togo boys for all your work. Do not make mistake of using Nigerians. Especially those Oshogbo boys

Very possible,
You don't need to mould bricks, sink borehole first, rent wheelbarrows.
Make sure most of the labourers are from outside that area.

Mostly,
Your presence will be needed more than anything else.
Please, when it gets to finishing level remember to help a brother.

There is nothing you cannot do if the money is available. imagine getting a bore hole, fencing, and getting flood lights to work. Have a stand by food vendors, drinks , cigar n cannabis (Sorry that's true), then connect Mp3 player to speakers for better jamz, etc . that work go finish in 2 months Time.
