We all know that the insurance sector bull was largely driven largely by speculation and not necessarily by fundamentals...

Speculation on the dividend can as well drive cavertons' prices upwards...

Realistically, if I owned caverton, I'll not be expecting a dividend this year. If it happens great, and if it doesn't, I won't be surprised...

They were just throwing it upandan like sand........too much liquidity and 'joyless" guys there......can't even deliver 50% successfully...

21th Jan TRANSCORP Shares Price Manipulations and Learnt lesson: NEWBIE EXPERIENCE

Following the 3days consecutive full bid on TRANSCORP, I successfully placed a buy order at 9:30am with an adjusted price of 10%, which was higher than the previous close (I used 1.40).

When trade eventually commenced, I realized my order was SWIFTLY filled (unlike the Mon, Tue and Wed). This made me uncomfortable so I decided to check the realtime trades only to realise that I had made a bluff because I could've bought lower. Technically this increased the average price of my holding because I bought some units when @megawealth called it out last week Friday.

Lessons:
1. Never get carried away by FULL BID.
2. Your pre-market buy order should always be lower or at par with previous closing price.

Never chase bulls I think is what you are implying because you eventually get in when you should be getting out.
@ 1.40 profit takers were already seeing 50% so at that price I knew there would be quite a lot of selling.
However I didn't expect such a turn around with the kind of bid that was chasing the stock and with the excitement being generated by some folks here.

All other penny stocks are far better than transcorp.........even Japaul delivered +800%......
At short trips, JP used to deliver nothing less than +50%.........na wa for the stock......

i think it will test 10 - 10.50 and we may see a correction to about 8 - 9 ish...dont think its time to buy now

i enjoy the service of @MeriTrade but their commission is not attractive to me anymore. I have already migrated half my portfolio to morgan capital since last year. Brokerage fee in Nigeria is too high.

The news that propelled Transcorp came this time last week. Which other news is coming out today that will help this our plane to have a good strength next week?
