Josh121:you guys are bad Belle out here! I am not surprised seeing Nigerians doings, trying to bring others down. I don’t know what will backfire at me when I don’t take money from anybody anyhow. All this long talk started because I asked for ID and the reason I asked for such is because I don’t want it to backfire so that your prayer wouldn’t work. Several people I met out here have helped me with funds transfer severally without any issue and I don’t remember they have any registered business. Please keep your beef to yourself. I have been doing this business and I kept my game tight on it as I don’t just recieve money from strangers without prove you own the accounts. Banks have severally blocked my account and I show them invoice of transactions to see source of funds and they opened it back without long story. |

Josh121:fumble on... which countries have you been too I haven’t been too? You want me to mention them? You have money to take care of your family ? Really you won’t be asking for how to get job in Uk by deciding which course to study. Keep fumbling mr man. I would also reiterate this don’t sour my dignity with the words looking for victim. I have done business with people in this thread running into millions of Naira without issue or concern. |
| Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Josh121(m): 12:26am On Jan 26, 2021 |

Tobexin:I didn’t say my spouse will work while studying , asking for legitimate work is not a crime but running a black money market is a crime |
| Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Tobexin(m): 12:40am On Jan 26, 2021 |
Josh121:I can see you lack some economical skills. So you think what I am doing is black market transactions? Getting pounds for Naira I have sufficiently enough or trying to get goods I send to Nigeria a crime? You are very funny That palm oil wey u Dey sell don enter your head. Goodnight |

You have offline you can't cater for and you have time to come and be doing advertisement on nairaland. Simple questions they asked you and you flared up like this . You're not even sincere with your answers, you lie too much and you're talking about reputation. You think you're the first person into this kinda hustle? , You better thread carefully. Anyways just to advise you if you're truly on a student visa, i think you should limit the kind of transactions you do. You might not have a problem now ,but When it's time to apply for pgw that's when you might have plenty questions to answer because obviously what you're doing is a violation of your student visa conditions. Please note, I don't know about UK but I know students that couldn't extend their stay in Germany because of this kinda stuff you're doing. Good luck man. Tobexin: |

RalphJean:I wouldn't advise him telling you the name of his company on a public forum. CBN has banned Naira remittance and what stops me from doing one single transaction with him and getting his Naira remittance account and reporting same to CBN to flag that BVN? Even Transferwise got banned for late compliance! ______________________________________________ @Tobexin I also think coming here on this platform to advertise your trade isn't ideal (it's not primarily a business driven forum with business minded people so abundance of caution is the default response and besides, your business is in the 'grey' area). If simple currency 'barter' like is done here, then no qualms (you may want to consider having multiple bank accounts). While I appreciate your business ideals on KYC/AML, unfortunately, you need to be registered with the iCO as an organisation to process peoples records (exemptions apply). Now you can't register with the iCO as you can't legally be a director under new Tier-4 policy. If you work for an 'establishment' then you need to be certain of the ffg: - How are clients/ monies received – personal or business account? - Is my organisation registered with the iCO? - Is your business registered with the FCA (not authorised assuming turnover monthly is </= €2 million)? - Do I work 20 hours max each week (reflected on your payslip)? My definition of an establishment is a registered entity on companies house (with 66110 or 66190 as one of its objects). Lastly, with regards to rate, c'mon 638! That's not fair na. As at yesterday, bulk sellers were asking for 652! Even with that, arbitrage will still give you 5-6 Naira differential. You want to chop a whopping 19-25 Naira per £. Guy, fear God o. __________________________________________________________________ |

As long as you are on student visa and huge amount is going in and out of your account you are going to attract a closer look by the authority. There is no timeline for this and you are providing them with a lot of evidence to work on you. I have made this mistake and this is why i'm stressing you on this, you may not be as lucky as i was during my student days. Think about this.. Good day. |
