How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Thanks bro. But it is too late. Maybe next time. I subscribe for another data and restart the phone. It started form 23% and it is at 98%. Wasted like 5gb on this download

Okay. Next time for a big update like that it is best to do it manually because our networks can be mad. From what you were experiencing last night I guessed it was Glo.

You will be downloading and it will stop but Glo will continue data transfer like it's still working.

U are very correct. It is glo 4G network. It doesn't behave like this o. Supposing I know I would have restart since when it stopped at 34% my data was just wasting

1. No Gcam for your device yet.

2. Why not use focus mode or you uninstall the apps.

3. After every update it is normal because changes have occur which the phone needs time to adjust to.

Stock camera vs gcam on my 9s which one is clearer and sharper. I have to compress both pictures because Nairaland pic maximum pic size is 4MB
