Justwise himself is probably sliding into Omopapa & MamaTukwas’ DM to exchange ££ for Naira. If not for KYC ID documents, he may even be DM-ing Tobexin.

You think that building project in Naija will complete itself?

Hello people of God grin grin

I just got my student Visa and I’d be traveling to Birmingham soon. I am an Architect and I’d like to know how the market is for Architects in the UK. Yes I understand there’s covid and I also understand that as a student I may have to do some odd jobs before landing the dream job lol. I just want to know how it is for Architects over there. Thanks!

In nairaland if ‘joke’ is the challenged it’s taken as truth.

So let me make it clear here now before you run with the’joke’

I never contacted those individuals you mentioned or any nairalander for any financial dealings and I’m not planning to do that anytime soon.

I have no problem sending money home.

Construction Industry is still doing okay so far. And Architecture is on the shortage occupation list. Depending on your level of experience and dedication to job search, you are bound to get something soon enough.

Highlight your competence in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM etc on your CV, update your LinkedIn profile as well. And lastly brush up on UK construction laws, health and safety and add those words to your CV.

If £2,478 can result in only £83 left ..... then £550 might be similar grin

However for a carer job, not bad at all

this gentleman's problem is paying more than 50% for rent. He obviously cannot afford to live at his current address or should get a better paying job. rent should be no more than 20-25% of monthly salary. na 85 pounds e go dey save. at this rate he will retire with 10k which will run out in the first year

Many things are exaggerated joor...

Rent...wetin happen...sew according to your size na
Car (must you buy new car on loan?)
Phone bill for...why not stick to only broadband sub and use just mobile telephony (O2 £10monthly + data)
Monthly Groceries...haba (Except na family of 3+ sha)

Things can be kept a tad simpler...to realize better monthly savings

In london that £1,300 is normal range. Maybe outside London but within london. I would say there should be many households are not able to do rent 25% of salary.
