Hi

Most Masters/PHD Research programs needs you to Contact a Prof. via Mail (Sending of Cold Mails) to get admitted.

I don't know how close you are alrdy in getting the PHD in Biochemistry at U of Manitoba, but you can try widen your horizon and reach out to more PROFessors in the field, so you don't put all your eggs in One Basket

In the link below are schools offering

Canadian Universities don't require IELTS from applicants English Speaking Countries e.g NIGERIA

For Canada Study Visa Application,
you have two choices
- Regular Channel (Presently with a processing time of 15 weeks)
- NSE route (20 days)

If you must follow the NSE route, it is mandatory of you to do IELTS and get the required Band score,
If you must follow the Regular channel, you don't need IELTS

Please I still need answer to this, is it a must for one to get multiple ghost updates before a decision is reached? Lemme know if IRCC is opening my file at all

Is it a must to get multiple ghost updates before a final decision is reached? I have only received 1 ghost update since my eligibility review started on Jan 12th. Winter 2021 intake, applied nov 5th, got NSE request and sent since dec 23rd, gcms notes delayed for 90days Jan 1st. Patience is really a virtue, IRCC is really teaching me this embarassed

Thank you Mr. Frank. I was at the bank yesterday and the official said something in the line. He said getting dollars from CBN is now like a bid due to its scarcity and they were able to secure 405/$ for me.

Which bank would you suggest? I will withdraw the funds and process with another bank.

As far as I know all the commercial banks in Nigeria are inefficient and slow in carrying out international transactions. You can try FCMB, Fidelity or Sterling bank.

@Mr. Frank

Please, how about a situation whereby, your employer are your families? Aunt, cousin & uncle

I have a board resolution letter, cac, proof of relationship letter. E.T.C and the $10k will be credited to my acct frm the company acct?

Do i have any chance??

Do i still need to ans to 2,3,4,5 & 6 as listed here?

In the above situation whereby your sponsor (aunt or uncle) is the main sponsor not the company. He/she should show commitment by paying your tuition and transfer funds to your domicilary account to prove that you've 100% to the funds presented in your application. A written declaration duly notarized from your sponsor affirming that sponsoring your education in Canada wouldn't pose to be a burden to his/her personal welfare or immediate family needs.

Hello Milkytins,

You may have to upload the leaflet from the hospital on a webform and send to IRCC.

I am curious the Medical request are they for kids below 10 coming on a visit visa. I am thinking of booking for upfront medical’s for my kids coming on visit visa....

milkytins:
Hi all, please what is the next thing after Qlife medical.
Family of 3.
Two with medical requests and 1 did upfront medical.

I don’t think anyone can certainly say yes or no to this.
I think you should just know that they are working on your application. The ghost updates also are not fixed so you might not stumble on it.

I am sure your application is being worked on and you just most likely have not stumbled on the ghost updates.

I think what you are supposed to do is to quickly renew your passport. After you get the new one. Send a web form to IRCC informing them about the new development and also quickly send in your passport before the deadline.

Please wait to also hear from others just to be sure.

Good evening great people.
I deferred my admission till May 2021, is there need for me to send the new admission letter?
Also, I am now a father do I need to raise a webform notifying IRCC of this change of status?

You can proceed to send the updated LOA to IRCC since your acceptance has exceed its program start date.

You need to inform IRCC about the change in marital status. If you've have a baby, you can update it on your in-progress application (please do this only in the event that you want to add your family with your application).

Aside the aforementioned, also include documents to show proof of your relationship with your sponsor. Documents like Birth certificate, marriage certificate, old photos taken in the past and proof of history or ongoing financial support.

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to go about the judicial review process? Got a rejection on my second application on the basis of financial status and personal assets (This did not even come up in my first application). I used an MBS along with additional investments in USD and NGN above above and beyond the required amounts with clear explanations (table of contents, summary financial table based on available funds etc)

Gurus in the house...please advise

I regret to hear that your study visa application was delayed. I will advice you order for your GCMS notes as soon as possible in order to know what went wrong with your application.

Good evening Frankrobbn1, Chocs, Lekiboboe and other gurus in the house.

Please i have a question and need your thought and experience on how to approach this.

I have a friend who has gotten original passport request from IRCC on the 14 Janaury, 2021 so the 30 days grace given to submit the passport would elaspse February 13, 2021.

My concern is she has deferred her admission from Janauary 2021 to mid year before the approval came on her application.

Now my question is should she raise a webform to notify IRCC of this change before submitting her passport for stamping? or should she submit her passport first , have it stamped and notify IRCC afterwards? Having in mind that the 30 days grace to get her passport to IRCC is just about 14days from now.

What do you guys think is the best approach to handle this?

Congratulations to your friend. She should submit her passport immediately for visa issuance. She doesn't need to inform IRCC about her deferment.

Good evening Mr Frank, I sent you a message a week ago. Please can you advise me on this?

The primary office reviewing my application is Nairobi and the secondary office is London. I have not been sending webforms to London. Is it possible to send a mail to the London office now that i know London is the secondary office and that is where my application is processed to explain some things about my switch in course from geology to data analytics and also a PGD with my 2.1 because my GCMS says my eligibility shows recommend interview.

Also, my application is way past standard processing time, sent mails and webforms twice lastweek but no response or PPR yet. Also started classes this winter about 3 weeks ago. What do you advise I do? Really want to know if it'll come out soon so I know if to defer till May session cause school deadline for withdrawal is soon.

I really appreciate your constant help to us here.

Hello, good evening, please I want to apply/study post graduate certificate course in canada is there high chances of me getting the Canadian visa... Pls help a brother

No one is ever guaranteed of a successful application process, even though you might qualify as per the Canadian immigration policy. You have to prepare your application in accordance with the existing immigration regulations and submit it along with the correct supporting documents to be verified by the Canadian Department of Immigration. The format that one needs to follow is not clearly spelled out by the immigration authorities and a lot of times results in many applicants submitting their files incorrectly, unavoidably leading to denial. Therefore, it is advisable to read through the past threads and acquire the necessary information.
