Of course. Thats why i said languages not ethnic groups. We have over 500 tribes/ languages in Nigeria alone.

A single language may be made up several dialects. Counting these dialects as different languages is the error that makes people to believe that Kaduna is made up of 20 languages and Nigeria made up of 250 languages.

Note that South west is 99% Yoruba and South East is 97% igbo. Are we to say that the remaining 4 zones have 248 languages?
