So sorry for your loss. But, people die from other ailments too cold and Typhoid inclusive, that does not make their fatality rate 100%. May God heal the Earth!

I've never lost family to malaria. So malaria is a "small" disease to me. But for those who have lost people to "common" malaria, malaria IS a Fatal disease.

My friends covid is fucking real. Please no joke with am. Last two weeks I had a terrible fever. I was surprised because I sleep in mosquito treated net and I wasn't stressed. Infact the fever was so severe that I never had that kind of fever. I was praying that I survived it. Cough came in third day, weakness came in third day too. Then diarrhea and sweating joined. One thing I was always doing was clearing my airways. I took freegell although even when I was sleeping I have one in my mouth. The symptoms began to wear off after 8days and after 13days I felt better. One thing I noticed apart from the intense fever is that covid 19 always attack the lungs and when it gets your lungs and begins to block it then it becomes fatal. All in all I have God and my immune system to thank for it. Nigeria should beware covid is real. I don't even know how I contracted it
Are you sure its COVID?

my question is how are you very sure its COVID?
It could be something else
COVID has many intertwined symptoms

If you have been a constant visitor to a hospital, you will know that a lot of people have died of ordinary malaria and nobody tagged it a fatality. Typhoid and Lassa fever can be very demanding too, nobody also tagged it a fatality.
Let's protect ourselves not just against covid-19 but order diseases too.

You want to see the bodies of who? Take your aged relatives to IDH, Yaba to hug those isolated there if you want to see dead bodies. So, until u start seeing dead bodies of other people u will not have sense? Imagine the ignorance and wickedness!!!
are all the people working in IDH, Yaba dead?

many people have mild symptoms, like op, those ones stay at home, like op did

The ones that have filled up the isolation centers, are the ones with the severe form of the illness.

Imagine this, if op's story is the mild form of illness that doesn't need isolation, how must it be for those who do? Protect yourself.
if you can treat this disease with available medicine and even recover without going to hospital, it is a SCAMdemic. you can't lockdown the whole world for a disease that has 99% recovery rate.

Please leave them. Someone even said I was paid agent , that I work for NCDC...the useless NCDC. Left to the ncdc who refused to pick my call, I wouldn't have made it but God's mercies said no! NCDC have sent lots of Nigerians to their early graves by not having enough test centres . In America, they beg people to come and get tested, for free. I still wonder how we got to this messy point as a country. Nigeria wasn't like this, while growing up in the 80s. In my primary school, the health workers would come and vaccinate us against polio and yellow fever for free. Most of us still have the mark on our shoulders till date.
so you did not do test for covid19, so how did you know it was covid19?

So as foolish as you are i can't differentiate malaria and covid-19 abi. No worry u go soon know. As old as I am I can't differentiate malaria and wetin hold me. Infact na God hold me. By the way covid-19 doesn't kill everyone that have it. I don't have underlying disease and close to 40year. I believe my immune system also helped out. Ginger drink and mentols help me too. The phlegm that could have blocked my lungs were cleared by freegell. Covid symptoms is strong fever, strong headache, running stomach, cold and cough. No worry when covid jam you you go know diffence between malaria and covid-19
you had malaria or flu not covid19. Stop promoting this SCAMdemic.

as an AA and O+ being, malaria isn't alien to me. Na regular customer for our type. Covid-19 is totally different. I just pray you don't experience it. Its terrible. You can take ACT antimalarial drug and you'd be fine. If you like, take an ACT for weeks, it won't cure covid-19. The situation would rather get worse. Just like you, I never believed it was real. Ignorance is even worse that the covid-19 itself
do you know they are different strain of malaria that are more deadly than covid19.

Don't mind them. Whoever doesn't believe in Covid-19 is not mentally stable. How can the whole world be lying at the same time? Why will relatives of the dead lie about what killed them? I wonder why Nairaland allows such crazy comments cos they are dangerous to the wellbeing of the society.
anybody that wants lockdown for a disease that has 99% recovery rate is not mentally stable. Anybody that thinks the world can lie together is not mentally stable.

I could swear , I got Covid around December last year, it was worse on the january, I was so weak, blocked nose, I was literally breathing through my noise and the chill feeling I felt was so strange, in short the feeling was so in explainable, my girlfriend later had the same experience, same symptoms with mine but surprisingly my 7 year old sibling was okay, c8vid isn't a scam, some might have it tough while some people symptoms might be worse, in my case it was a near date experience even though I didn't get tested but with the symptoms and all, I knew it was covid
another SCAMdemic promoter here. No test to confirm whether it was covid19 or not.

Sure. Malaria also can kill. But covid-19 is a fast killer. In 3 days, it could take life. Malaria would show symptoms which you could still manage for a reasonable number of days before it finally weighs you down, if nothing is done to tackle it on time

malaria can kill in few days. If someone has malaria they will always show symptoms, but for covid19 some people dont show symptoms. But you call covid19 more deadly than malaria.

Please read the last paragraph of my post at least you'd have a better understanding. The question you're asking me is tantamount to saying I should copy and paste the horrible experience again.

Simply put..

I made an attempt to get tested by the NCDC which failed. Look at the screenshot below the post and read their useless reply. After my kids went through it, my wife was the last person to be hit and this time, I was fit enough to take her to the isolation centre where she tested positive. They were reluctant in attending to her seeing the mammoth crowd but I had to explain all we went through before they now attended to her. Please read my post from the first to the last word.

simple Yes or No. You cant answer straightforward.
From your long post, you didn't do test, and your wife did.
So how can you know you had covid19?

Lol don't mind the guy, he's a big dunce. The only annoying thing is when you have confident dunces littering the cyberspace.

Your wife tested positive after displaying the same symptoms you showed, even a doctor during the test would have asked her if she had been in close proximity to anyone who was ill with similar symptoms recently which of course is her husband and kids. It's a no brainer that you or your kids infected your wife. The m0ron is still asking how you are sure you have covid when you infected a confirmed case.

Nutcases are frustrating, I swear.

which lies? I declined further comments because you were stressing me unduly, in spite of how far I've gone, even exposing NCDC's ineptitude. You weren't just making any sense to me. I'm not a kid, whom you could be tossing that way. The choice is yours. So, do whatever pleases you.
