DNA test being carried out should also involve the mother it is very possible the baby could be switched at the hospital, unfortunately we are a society very quick to judge women.. It is very important they both know the kids is there's but like HIV test I think counseling is important. But if the man needs to know it is very simple but provided he won't be judgemental till the wife does hers.

Please while conducting DNA test to confirm if the husband is the father, please also try check for the mother, perhaps who knows if the child was swapped at birth by evil health workers. So it becomes necessary to check the wife too.
