Now it has turn to vocational education ,they now know the value of it in education sector..they offered it in nysc orientation camp..

I was actually a cab guy at a point in my life and nobody dared make such derogatory statement cos seeing me sef go tell you sey this one nah cab guy due to condition cos the way i carried myself, the way i speak...every mother will even encourage their children to be like me.

Asides, some people enjoy cab business regardless of their level of education and in forward thinking countries, it is a career like several others and they even make more money than bankers and other white collar jobs.

It is in a country like naija with many fake people that they see Taxi driver as a low life.

Tinubu was once a cab driver and several other accomplished men in the society so I see no big deal.

I remember trying to make a little extra money in my 300lvl. I was just doing it to see if I could make money on my own. My parents had always paid for everything and encouraged me to focus on school. So I'd never really truly handled anything on my own.

I tried to sell cards and advertise my art like some other students were doing. From the minute i started going round, talking to people, they really looked down on me. One guy in particular, who came to the girls hostel, he started laughing and stumbling. His friends were like, guy behave, but he continued laughing and turning back, giving me scornful looks up and down as his friends dragged him away. I was wondering why it was like that because other people sold and i didn't see such disrespect being accorded to them.

Omo, after only one day of that kind of behavior, I just jejely let my funds be paid and respected myself for a while.

All in all, the taxi guy should take heart and develop a thick skin. There's a way things should be, but the world acts as it wishes.
