In 2015 the south west formed alliance with the North to wrest power from the south when Jonathan would have completed his second term. At that time the south west didn't consider it as short changing the southern region. Now the want Jonathan to reject a northern offer to complete his second term because they feel this will shortchange the southern region and return power to the north after 4 years.
