500k profit or revenue. Anything from N5 million to N10 million, but you will hustle ooo.

If you need passive income you will need about N50 million and above

I'm ok with the hustle part.. I'm ready for it.. I've been thinking of palm oil production but I really don't have the idea of ratio of investment to profit margin.. Kindly educate me if you can or advice on any other business I can set up. Thanks

He plenty nah, businesses way dey give 1 to 2% monthly on invested money.

Note that u need atleast 100/2 x 500k as capital. So, my question is do u have 25 mil to invest? undecided

Yup.. Uk-Dion currently pays that 500k monthly for 35M investment, so I'm thinking I should be able to earn more if I use the funds myself.. I'm tired of investing, I want to set up something that I can see.. These firms may be regulated but what happens when the CEO is no more? Pls share business establishment ideas if you can.

Nobody will tell you and give you a workable business that will yield you profits.
Because of they do they've created competition for themselves in their business already.
These are things you've got to figure out yourself and take the risk.
It's funny how some of you come to places where people that are running from real sectors of the economy and ask about how to do real business .
As for your palm oil thing,I think you should talk to this guy,he might help you.

After retirement, health is always one of the biggest issues that could ruin your finance if you don't have a good financial stand, not just food or other social activities.

Pray not to have a health situation when your local doctor will refer you to India or one of those expensive hospitals in Nigeria for a treatment that could cost you millions.

If you can, try to always increase the monthly earnings for your retirement goals, no amount is too big to earn after retirement, especially when you have invested enough money. I only feel and pity those poor civil servants who don't have too many options.

@Lazyyouth4u said a man and his wife in good health in the village. There are times that even 50m is not enough for health weda retired or not retired.

The way una de call money, e go come be like say non be this country I follow de.

In my own estimation, the number of workers who have 1 million naira liquidity saved somewhere in their account as they are retiring are not up to 1 million workers.

Most small towns and villages don't need millions to survive. Places where you are able to get 3 bedroom flat for 130 - 150k non need you to be millionaire.

Health is the humbler though. Some terminal illnesses have no respect the individual

But where you want see am?guys don full those companies already and they wont sell to you, even if they do you will struggle in the market with existing giants.
Unless you take the risk now and enter one new company weh their face never show and build with them, but then na huge risk?
What if e no sell?your capital don enter gutter be that and you return to poverty.
So you fear and stick to trading.
Even in corporate world, the same thing.

Bros go for am,if you apply basic business laws you will succeed.
That thing has demand especially in your place (north ) because they farm a lot for a living.
And you have trucks to use and haul product so that might make you cheaper than others that will hire truck instead.
Then don't ho to major towns, rather be the champion in the villages because all those alhadjis and their plenty money in northern towns no go let you breathe, let alone sell undecided
Better to be a village champion than a nonentitiy in the city.

You are assuming that those farmers for north no dey use fertilizer before Dangote come. The north is where Notore and Indorama make most of their domestic sales. Some of the governments dey even buy and distribute to their farmers or subsidize for them and all the current supply comes from Notore and Indorama. That's why I said pharmaceuticals and supermarket. In most pharmacies, 90% profits comes from drugs while less than 10% comes from supermarket. There are some secrets behind why business owners marry the two together.

Could be dependent on location because the rate at which these supermarkets are springing up in PHC, its hard to believe the margin is small.

Along Ada George, a 6km stretch of road, there are over 20 supermarkets on both sides of the road. That's a supermarket every 300m.

it show desperation and poor investment sense..among thing taught in bussiness school is when there is easy entry and exit any business profit grind to zero and the 20 super markets will pack up...even a security guard is chopping out of the market share with his small kiosk.......strategy used to protect markets share are ...capital intensive entry ,difficult exit ,govt regulations ,linsence etc ....

LAS VEGAS -- A British man who sold all his possessions, including his clothes, stood in a rented tuxedo Sunday surrounded by family and friends and bet everything on a single spin of the roulette wheel.

He won't go home empty handed.

Ashley Revell, a 32-year-old Londoner, sold all his possessions in March, took $135,300 to the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, did some low-stakes gambling and then placed everything he had left on "red."

The wheel was spun, a crowd of supporters including his Mum and Dad from London went wild, the ball bobbled over the slots and landed on Red 7 -- and Revell walked away with $270,600.

Me sef bet 300k (Naira o, I never see dollar before o) on 2 odd game some years back, I won! wink

as a (dpr)rule stations must be 3km apart (This now abused ) this to make each station profitable and maintain markets share in the bloody red oceans filled with sharks .....like wise pharmacy is 500m distance.(regulation )Or built a refinery (capital intensive )like dangote and jump out of the bloodied shark infested red ocean to a calm blue Ocean which will remain undisputed......or make the competition irrelevant. and create an oligopoly....

they have huge usless turn over with little margin and big overhead ....the manufacturers have milk out the profits...but one good thing about supermarkets is that company sale rep deliver goods on credits to their shelve and on expiration na company loose ......run business on other people money ....
