[quote author=lekki1444 post=99368165]Well i have to admit giving out my phone number is silly but i am not the type to say no to poeple to their face, and no i am not a hard man, and no i am not a redpiller based on misogyny and bad experience with women, I am just someone seeking a higher spiritual path and i find being in relationships is hardwork in itself and i am just not ready for that kind of hardwork in my life. i love my own company and doing things at my own pace. i dont want to dance to another persons tune. yu get me ? so i am not one of these angry i hate All I can deduce from the bolded is, you are shying away from responsibilities not the "hard work" pe say. All the same, it's your life. live it as you deem fit but stop saying women have entitlement mentality. No, we don't. It is he who brings home an ant-infested firewood that says the lizard should pay him a visit. |

All the same, it's your lifeYou are very correct in what you said which is that I am shying away from responsibility. listen this is how i see it ? everything we are doing here means nothing and has no value and will be swept away in the sands of time and we will be forgotten and everything will be forgotten. it means absolutely nothing. all your achievements or what you acquired means absolutely nothing. so at the end of the day all the stress is for nothing. you are just here keeping yourself busy and being propelled by your ego to think what you are doing has meaning but in actuality it has no meaning and you and all you did will be forgotten and the planet will keep on receiving births and churning them and then disposing of them 6 feet under. and as a wise man who knows all these ? i refuse to take on plenty responsibility because it just means i am stressing myself for something that means absolutely nothing. and as such i keep my life very simple and stress free and relationships are not stress free lol. so i am staying away , for now anyway. hope that makes sense |

Richy4:hmmm great question and sorry i did not see your post till now. well i have to admit there was an innocent point in time when good wholesome people ( girls included ) were churned out into the planet and i have met many good wholesome lovely girls. but i have to say that era is gone. these millenials ? are all wolves and hunters ( both the men and the women ) and so to answer your question i have not met any women lately who dont have a hidden agenda. they all come with hidden agendas. its a different world. highly commercialised. these girls need iphone 13 ![]() |

lekki1444:Hahahahaaaa... You're not serious o. Well, sometimes this thoughts come to me but I try not to ponder on them eventhough it bears some facts in them and it's one of the reasons why I'm not really bothered that at my age I don't have a relationship because to me it's draining and stressful for someone like me that likes a peaceful life. Marriage on the other hand is a huge responsibility that you don't come out of until your later years when you're spent training and making sure your children are made in life, by what time you're old and feeble. So, when did you enjoy the life? It's a silly thought though but it comes. Though by His grace, I will own a family when I will. I get you bro. But |

pozehnani:lolzzzz hey so long as we can agree that its all nothing, but for some they can ride this train of thought from birth till death and carve out a simple life, but for others, at some point in time they want to jump of the train and have a family, which all these are programs in your mind to think you need to have yur own family but i totally get it. the most important thing is not to take yourself too serious and not to take life too serious. its nothing. in all you do ? keep it simple. dont over-complicate it. dnt ccare about what the cattle ( the programmed people ) think and just find peace in your simple life. because at the end of the day ? it all means nothing . all will be swept away and forgotten in the sands of time. someone like you ? try to have 1 baby. 2 at most but prefarably 1. keep it simple ![]() |

Sense of entitlement as a product of self-absorption and or opportunism isn't a Nigerian woman (or woman) habit alone. In fact, from all indications, there are more Nigerian men than women with a sense of entitlement these days. |

lekki1444:Absolute utter nonsense, that's what your nihilistic view is, complete ignorant rubbish! Who says what I do must be remembered, for starts, when even my right hand must not even know what the left did? And how can you claim that the poor mother I anonymously sent just ₦1000 to 3 years ago so she can apply for the job she got so she is now able to feed the baby she gave birth to after her baby father died in a road accident a year after, is nothing? And has no value? And will be swept away? Is that baby's future "nothing" in your opinion, and of no value? Because I'm sure you do not know what nihilism is, I am certain you will benefit from this thread! It might make you see better! The Paradox Of Nihilism- A Problem For Atheists And Humanists |

budaatum:alright so a nihilist is someone who rejects all theories of morality and religious belief. well thats not me. I am very big on morality. its a top priority for me. i try my utmost best to be a morally upstanding member of the world and my community. As with rejecting religious belief, i really dont reject any religious beliefs. they are all different levels of spiritual enlightement and i have been through many of these schools of thoughts however the bible is the ultimate book of religious wisdom. And so I am not a nihilist. however that young girl you talk about ? in 200 years from now she will be wiped away in the sands of time. all that she ever struggled for and all that she ever achieved all dissipated into nothingness while the world keeps moving on. all the things she held dearly to her and she thought were very important ? only if she had a chance to go over everything on her death bed will she see that it all meant nothing. THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE BECAUSE THIS IS HOW YOU BUILD UP GOOD OR BAD KARMA FOR YOUR NEXT LIFE. yuour spirit never dies and it records all your deeds. and you bring that spirit with you into your next life. so all that matters is your good works. nothing else matters. be moral, treat people good and live a simple life. |
| Re: Why Do Nigerian Women Feel so Entitled by budaatum: 5:28pm On Feb 24, 2021 |
lekki1444:It means more than that. Its a belief in the pointlessness of everything, as you expressed yourself to be! lekki1444:See? Pointlessness! And you are claiming there is no possibility that her great great great great grandchild might never be president of Africa, or might not be kind to some random individual who finds the cure for cancer, or simply dig a borehole in her community who may be dying of cholera, as if you have a crystal ball in which you see the future. lekki1444:When you say "remembered", I think you mean reward. You want to be remembered and rewarded and praised for the good you do instead of doing good in its own right. You will argue that I'm wrong though because you know it is not the right and desirable way to be thought of. Suggestion. Abandon your cracked made in China crystal ball. |
| Re: Why Do Nigerian Women Feel so Entitled by lekki1444(op): 5:43pm On Feb 24, 2021 |
budaatum:well according to the dictiionay definition of it, this is not who i am. the spirritual world drives the physical world. the emphasis on the physical world is pointless. focusing more on building up your spirit is what is important. as such nothing you do in the 3D world matters as much as did you develop your higher self aka your spirit self when you were down here. and so a nihilist will by definition be an atheist. I am not an atheist. i am aware of the spiritual world and i try to reinforce my spirit being so i can be powerful in the physical --- AS ABOVE SO BELOW and you keep bringing up the story of the little girl. if you have died 200 years ago does it matter if your greaat great great grandchild found the cure for cancer ? its like that saying if a tree falls down in the forest and no one is there to hear it does it make a noise ? my point is nothing you do here on earth is important if you abandon your spiritual development. everything in this 3 dimensional world is dust and from dust it all came and to dust it will all return. rhat includes all the houses, the roads, the papers, human beings etc etc. everythng is dust. means absolutely nothing. what matters is your spirit |
| Re: Why Do Nigerian Women Feel so Entitled by budaatum: 5:50pm On Feb 24, 2021 |
lekki1444:Yes it does matter. Though your point is it mattering to the dead woman. Many years after a guy named David died, a person named Jesus was born. It might not matter to David but it matters to billions around the world! And a tree that falls in the forest does make a sound. You can go and ask the birds if you do not think it does. |

budaatum:alright i see my trail of thought is going right over your head. listen you can continue to pay so much emphasis on this dust created physical world and all that comes with it aka pain, strife, suffering, disappointment, discontentment, struggles.,, stress, sadness, etc etc while i will continue to focus on my higher self and keeping my physical life simple with all that comes with it aka contentment, happiness, joy, rest of mind, peace, feeling fulfilled etc etc ![]() |

budaatum:i think this nihilist is a new word you picked up lol but you are using it wrongly. try to apply the correct definition to words. i have been through it with you that a nihilist is basically someone who lives carefree and is an atheist. i do not live carefree. i am guided by spiritual and moral principles. very much so. so you may wanna re-check the meaning of nihilism ![]() |
| Re: Why Do Nigerian Women Feel so Entitled by budaatum: 6:10pm On Feb 24, 2021 |
lekki1444:A nihilist does not need to be an atheist, and carefree is what you described yourself as, and I am asking you to consider the spirituality in the future like 200 years after you may have died. |

lekki1444:The question should be: Why are NIGERIANS entitled? Answer: I honestly don't know. I don't get why the average Nigerian thinks he/she has a right to your resources. However, it is coined black tax. |
