We have gone through this process before, when he returned item, I credited him straight away (345k), no payment plan or whatsoever, same way I was gonna credit him after returning recent item, but he took matters into his own hands for no reason. First one need to thank God for the picker is still alive and whole.

As for the issue of refund, since there is no rule stating you are going to forfeit part of your money when something like this happens, then it boils down to what you are willing to give to help salvage the loss based on your conscience.

In this case, this is what I think.

You willingly (not forced) give picker part of the money he lost based on say you get conscience and na you send am go meet the robber.

Pickup as easy as it seems is too risky and full of loss at the slightest mistake but that is what should be considered when one decides to venture into the business so that when certain things like this happens one's mind is prepared.

Uchesmiith your entitled to a full refund but be humane in reasoning with picker in your own discretion and not the discretion of the picker.
