was thinking also before but its very doubtful now. ASI had crossed below 50MA making it near impossible for any rally

Are we really in a bear period. The answer is capital No.The present market is a representation of what the economy is facing right now.The country is just coming out of recession. Most companies are producing at 50 percent capacity, salaries are being owed, dollars is high etc. Then you want stock market to be performing magic. The country is facing serious security issue ,we have silent war within the regions. It has nothing to do with TB at 5.5 percent and bond at 10 percent. If you have other businesses you will realize that all aspect of the economy is bleeding. So many are struggling to put food on thr table, pay school and rent bill including fuel price going high. That is why dividend paying stock is always important for times like this .The stock market does not perform in isolation from the economy of the country.

This has nothing to do with suffering. People have been suffering since time immemorial. All the issues you talked about has been with us for a long time now. This is all about global market trends. If you do some follow up on market trends globally, you will observe the same thing currently happening here is same across board.

And you believe because rates are increasing that is what is affecting the carpital market.Oga i once did T B for my son at 18 percent and the stock market was still doing fine. The new rates is not any thing shouting. The economic indices plays a major rule. The people in that country have to make money first before they can invest. Then foreign investors will want to take thr money to a country whose economy is growing and stable

Unfortunately retail investors like you and me play an insignificant role in the capital market. If we decide to sell all our shares, no one might notice. Am talking about the MMs, PFAs & Institutional investors. They determine market direction.

When they come, we are aware, when they leave, we notice.

Sunu plans to raise 5bn via rights offer in June 2021. Currently SUNU groups holds 75%+ of the stocks, if they go ahead with the right offer, they will hold more than 95% of the stock, and will most likely delist from nse and pay off minority shareholders. There might be a play here, for the stronghearted gamblers.

Beware: Not a recommendation.
