yes, but for instance in a public setting, apart from pubs, or clubs, or football, in other settings, you will hardly see a angry white, its like they know where to be angry and how to compose themselves in public.

In Schools, the are very orderly, no cult clashes, in banks or other settings, or public transport, they move in orderly manner, for buses, they wait for people in the buses to come out before going in, they respect queues.

Many of such things they do, i think they were trained at home and in schools to be considerate and very thoughtful, which makes them very smart or organized, they don't show anger.

The average Nigerian is always angry because of the situation of the country....
Using myself as an example, over the past few days I have been in a very bad mood, I need about #60k to secure hostel in my uni and all my efforts to get it has been in vain. Universities are springing up left and right creating dependent individuals who can not reason for themselves, minting out "certified slaves" - for the civil service according to Fela. If I have the opportunity to do it all over again - knowing what I know now, no university in Nigeria with their fake degrees deserves one kobo of my money. I will use my school fees and Accomodation money to trade and in 4 years, I will employ those who were supposed to be my course mates as store boy and store girl for 18k naira a month!

The situation of the country, the stress we go through, mentally and physically. All this tell on our relationship with one another. we work over 12hrs just to survive, no time for family or vacation. And at the end you'll be paid peanuts. Even the rich ones work twice these days, stay in traffic for four hours, children complaining about lots of things, family requesting for help here and there. All this amount for the anger you see on people's faces.

the answer is very simple, we all are angry cuz things are hard, even for the rich. let me explain so that you can understand.

the rich are finding it hard to maintain being at the top and they don't want to suffer by coming down, the middle class also find it to get to the top and not come down while the poor are tire of being at the bottom and finding it very very hard to reach the middle class nor the top class. There is frustration everywhere, the death rate is so high this year people are going through depression and praying for death, those who pray for death and couldn't see decide to commit suicide. From the saying "an hungry man is an angry man" we can say a poor man angry nature is understandable to an extent. What about the rich ones? The people in the middle and upper class? How do we explain their cause of angriness?
Fine, it's human thing to be sad or unhappy once in a while but how do we explain being angry unnecessary every time.

Everyone seems to be angry over little things that can be overlooked. You will mistakenly match them slightly and they'll want to fight you. You will ask a polite question and aggressive mode will be activated.

My most recent experience was yesterday morning when I went to the bank to get some money.
I took a bike which costs #50 normally. I gave the bike man #100 and he started shouting that I should have told him I didn't have change. Haha! #100 to collect #50 change. I forfeited the change. Own getting inside the bank, I saw 3 standing adjacently on the queue. I asked one of them "Please Sir, are you the last person on the queue" since it was hard to know whom I was behind. "You no get eyes. You no see say na my behind you dey".
When I left the bank, I wanted to buy sports newspaper. I told the vendor to give me Complete sports since he didn't display any sports newspaper and he replied angrily " I no get joor. If you no wan buy these ones make you comot for here".

Recalling the series of event, I find it hard to fathom the reason behind everyone's lingering angry mood.

OP you're not serious at all, you met 3 angry guys in a day and you concluded that Nigerians are angry people.
Couldn't it be that you were hostile and your manners are not friendly that was why you got similar responses back.

it is gross foolishness to ask someone "are you the last person on the queue"

Next time when you go to the bank don't ask anybody anything, just fill your teller and stand behind the last person on the damn queue.

Stress alone could led to depression, depression and frustration works hand in hand. Nigerians hardly smile those that smile within a little space of time their face would turn moody..

Just as it is to say "please sorry oo" before asking polite question.
