Ok I just confirmed that it will be counted for a 10years route but can't be counted for 5years route

Correct ......

its when you are trying to naturalise after 5 years then the 2 years PSW doesn't count

But for 10 years, yes all time spend legally in the UK counts, including years as a student, psw years and the extra years accumulated

Gurus, please help.
If the main applicant is already in Bristol but living in Cardiff will there be a problem when the dependant is applying for Visa? as regards the location being different from the school environment (Bristol).
Thanks
@justwise @Lagosismyhome @mimilyrics @everyone

I have no clue but I just asked a friend who did similar...... the main applicant school is London but when the family were to join 3 months later as London is expensive and its been remote learning due to covid, they got a place down south ( about 2 hours drive to london). They submitted the tenancy agreement in their dependent application, no issues were raised and visa issued .

However some cases might differ so just always be prepared to explain why if asked

When I applied in 2018, they accepted my student copy. My school didn’t need to send it to them. When I arrived in Hull, I went to the administrative office and they photocopied the transcript for their records

Hi Zeecos,

Please I've sent you an email. Kindly reply. I want to get some info about studying in Hull.

Masters, psw then PhD then psw.
All of these should give you about 10 years, right? If you are willing to go the stretch.

was that what the article says? Or you just assume that it should. Anyways my point is you all better make your findings well and be sure about your decision by taking drastic step like selling your house. My thought is you should leave something to fall back to incase things doesnt work out

Which article? Your post study work visa counts in the 10years. It's started clearly in the Uk site

The guidelines doesn't state such. You only get it once in a lifetime cheesy

If you wanna go thru the route you suggested by just reading book, just kúkú do bachelors, masters then PhD grin

If I recall, Bachelors/masters is 2 years while PhD is 3 years PSW

Good morning. Can one have more than one sponsor for a student in UK? Preferable a family member and an outsider just to show proof of funds?

no, your parents or yourself or a government scholarship. otherwise ask the person to put the money in your account or partner's or parents if you aren't married.

Chairman e be like say the best way to get this 10yrs long residency by education na if you and your woman ❤️ enter uk together ooo.

So una go dey do switch switch till 10yrs go complete.

Thank God, Student dependants fit switch now while in the uk unlike before.

Tier 4 (1yr) + psw (2yrs) + tier 4 dependant (1 or 2yrs assuming say your madam go do Msc nursing ) + psw dependant (2yrs) = 6 or 7yrs

Then one of una must try do PhD (3 or 4yrs)

Or make one of you do PhD straight after the masters so you go fit collect 3years psw.

E sure but na better money oooo ✌️

The prayer na to get skilled worker visa so all this one no go dey necesstri.
