119mba:Lol. I didn't say it will or will not get there.......but that's just the junction I'm looking at. You may need to adjust a little bit up or down depending on market situation, the dividend to be paid and, how deep your pocket is or how much you wish to stake here. Most importantly, there's the need to key-in at a junction where, if reconstruction meets you in the bus, you're also safe... Mansard is already below N1..........@92kobo today..... so far ...... |

ZENITH: This good stock is suffering in the hands of Mr. Market..........good news for bargain hunters........ Peter will be watching with keen interest and sharpened cutlass......should it mistakenly reach his bargain junction......lol... Don't be too optimistic cos it can't get to your cut-throat junction before it reverses..... JAIZBANK: The panic dumpers association are at it again........was sold down to 0.62kobo.....Jaiz to pay Dividend. Dividend lovers should keep eye on this space @62kobo and below........ http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/32580_JAIZ_BANK_PLC%20ANNOUNCEMENT_OF_BOARD_MEETING_OUTCOME_CO.pdf Cc: Arduino Seems he has a new moniker too. 3 Likes |

Since UBA result and dividend declared was released, pipo dey fear to buy bank stocks again . Na look me I look you we dey so until results come out . From wetin I see ooo, RSI for health coys is on the oversold region. It's getting ready to move. Took some bargain opportunity last week in Fidson & M&B for both dividend and Cap appreciation (short term play). Cadbury too. DD as always oo. These are not liquid stocks oo so patience is key |

Any body with a suggestion of an android app I can use to manage all my portfolios across all segments; bonds, TB, stocks, MMF, crypto etc. I have been using excel google sheets but it's not convenient. Just need an app where I can always have an overview of all assets and to always update it. Thank you |

PharmAlfred: It's missing the most important component that determines the longevity and robustness of any market which is investor confidence. An average American and even folks around the world with little investment knowledge can throw in their savings through their active years into the 'good stocks' in the US stock market with good confidence that in time, they'd make good profit. For the past decades the market has come through for them. How many Nigerians can do that with the NSE? The people who really move a market are not the active traders here but those who 'forget' their money in the market and let it do it's thing. Skillful investor or not, only a minority of traders/investors perform better than the underlying performance of the market they trade in. Nothing stimulates the average investor like saying, I bought this for x amount 8 years ago, 'forgot it' and today, it's valued at 2-3x... Sadly, the NSE has been in a perpetual downtrend for over a decade. Combine that with the fact that in that same timeframe, the naira has been devalued by over 300% against the dollar then even the very savvy investor will start second guessing. 5 Likes 1 Share |
