He can never have his demonic way on this thread. His plan was to come here and turn everything up side down, confuse everyone about the ongoing international airport, but he has kept failing. But while he was here ranting, the airport project was ongoing, by the time pictures of the project started showing up, he went haywire and became suicidal.

Now he doesn't sleep at all, because you will always see him on this thread from 1am till 5am, and he will still be the first to jump out at 7am to start commenting here. cheesy

2) Your wishful thinking that there is future where a state would be in stangancy just for another state to develop itself, is stupid as it's funny.

You guys should learn how to present your arguments constructively

"Ebonyi is the poverty capital of the south" isn't' generalization right? You can't compare life and death is a statement meant for your father abi? We're not inferior to anyone for those of you shouting "inferiority complex". I'm very proud as an Ohaozara man and Ebonyian. We never wished that Anambra remain stagnant while Ebonyi progresses as we never speak ill of anambra state, and we don't compare ourselves to any state. You guys are always the ones shouting Anambra vs IMO, anambra vs Enugu, Anambra vs Lagos, 1st class vs 2nd class Igbo etal. I hate anambra people for this idiotic attitude you just displayed here. It seems insulting Ebonyi and her people gives you guys a lot of joy, but just bear in mind that we care not about whatever you think you are or have achieved. Ten years from now you guys will be the ones trooping to Ebonyi for your businesses and greener pastures. You never said anything about the over 90% of anambrarians that are in Lagos but the presence of few Ebonyians in anambra keep purging you, and this hatred will lead you to your early grave. You guys are too arrogant and insultive! Shame on you for comparing your almighty anambra with the little Ebonyi state of yesterday! More developmental strides which will shut your mouth permanently are still coming to Ebonyi state. Shame on you anambra supremacists and haters!!! Next is to compare your state with Heaven, since there's no other state like anambra in the whole universe

I have heard this type of hateful rhetoric among A LOT of Abakaliki people against Anambra and to some extent other igbos. I am shocked that even Ohaozara and Afikpo people have joined in this unfortunate beef. My sister who was married to an Ebonyi man also confirmed this feeling to me. In her words, she said Ebonyi state will rather Dangote or Shinkafi mine the limestone at Nkalagu, than allow an Anambra person as core investor in any industry in Ebonyi. They say Anambra people boastful, arrogant and Ebonyi people will continue to undermine them and mitigate their progress by any means necessary.

The only shocking thing to me is that Anambra itself is filled with Ebonyi people! How do you hate a people so much and you flock to their land enmass? More over, while i admit that some uneducated traders from Anambra, imo, Enugu and indeed other parts of Igboland sometimes make insulting comments against Ebonyi people, it should not be the reason to "hate" EVERYONE! Besides, Ebonyi people also call Anambra people and other Igbos insulting names.

let us stop this negative attitude. It is totally silly that a man whose house is on fire is busy chasing rats. Even Onitsha and Obosi people, Umueri and Aguleri people, Ihiala vs Azia people have all had communal squabbles and call each other derogatory names. It does not mean they "hate" everyone from the other beefing community. It also does not prevent them from knowing they are the same clan and same people. I do think that Ebonyi people are increasingly taking steps to be hostile to other Igbos and entrench unnecessary rancor. it is wrong and a very very bad strategy which will do nobody any good.

I personally applaud Umahi's infrastructural revolution in Ebonyi state. However, he should also spare some thought about increasing investment in ventures that create good jobs and reduce poverty. he should consider helping Ebonyi farmers to close the supply shortage of foodstuff in the entire region. he should also look at how to create agro-industrial estates whereby he would encourage investors (REGARDLESS OF THEIR STATE OF ORIGIN) to come and invest in agro-processing factories in Ebonyi state.

Ebonyi state can become a land of progress and prosperity by doing what other states cannot do and not by replicating malls and roads already abundant in nearby Enugu. Although physical development are also very important, but should not be the number 1 strategy for Ebonyi's industrial take-off. But by being UNIQUE & STRATEGIC in what only Ebonyi state can do very very well, and so effortlessly. Which is striving to become an industrial hub for all products consumed in West Africa. The same thing that made the state of Georgia and North Carolina great in America. I was shocked that Anambra was beginning to compete with Ebonyi in agricultural output! Ebonyi state must wake up and devote resources into making sure it totally dominates agricultural production in the entire West African region!

Igbos are generally proud people. Even my people in Anioma have had our own caricature moments from some southeast Igbos. i am not saying we have not given them back the same treatment in our own way. But it ultimately does not justify statements that we hate all southeast igbos. Although i do sincerely dislike some of them. But they are my kith and kin and I love them. No family is without some type of squabbles.

I do know because there is relatively greater prosperity in Anambra compared to Ebonyi, this stereotype will continue. That is why Ebonyi state government MUST focus on its NATURAL wealth-creating advantages and convert them into wealth! To make Ebonyi the land of prosperity and wealth! Agriculture is something that no state in the south can compete with Ebonyi state. therefore, a deliberate strategy of total eradication of poverty on the bedrock of agricultural industrialization of ebonyi state must be a policy of the state government.

The guinea worm pandemic of the past dealt a huge image problem to Abakaliki. A lot of people still think Guinea worm is still in the area. That is why i love the fact that Umahi is doing a lot to develop and project the state. My only concern is that his heavy focus on physical infrastructure is not matched by the focus on economic development through a purposeful focus on creating massive industrialization through agricultural value chain processing industries. Imagine if we had a massive number of noodles factories in Abakaliki - Afikpo converting the abundant high quality rice into pasta for export. If we had yam and cassava flour factories, if we had tomato factories, if we had massive fish farms in Afikpo producing smoked fish for the entire West Africa region. if we had massive cattle ranches OWNED BY THE PEOPLE to produce powdered milk, cheese and ofcourse beef. Just think of the revenue it would be accruing the state and the number of goods jobs that will be created within the Abakaliki - Afikpo axis.

My concern is that instead of focussing on the area where Ebonyi has the natural advantages, we are replicating Enugu! Which isn't bad if we still find some resources to devote to agricultural transformation as we develop the malls. But, without creating a net increase in good jobs and factories in Ebonyi state, nobody will move from Enugu to Abakaliki even with the brand new malls. The Enugu airport will always be busier than Abakaliki airport even if the Abakaliki terminal is newer and bigger and so on. Because you are playing second fiddle to what has already been done in nearby states. Ebonyi needs to think outside the box and use its fertile land to ultimately industrialize the state. That is the right path to prosperity for Ebonyi state.

...As police discover baby factory, four pregnant young girls awaiting delivery

It will be recalled that on 11/3/2021, there was a report at the Area Command Headquarters, Nnewi, that a four year old child of St Joseph's School, Otolo Nnewi, was returning home from School in company of his siblings when two men on a motorcycle grabbed the child and zoomed off with him.

However, the child was rescued by some commercial motorcyclists who pursued and eventually arrested the suspects at Akamili Community, Nnewi.

Preliminary investigations conducted by the Police revealed that the suspects who were beaten to stupor by an angry mob (one of whom was confirmed dead), were sent by One Gladys Nworie Ikegwuonu, presently at large, who also operates a baby factory and a brothel by keeping young girls and getting them impregnated after which she sells the children to her waiting customers.

Two suspects arrested are Abuchi Ani, 'M', aged 32 years, of Ohazora, Ebonyi State, and Emeka Ikegwuonu, 'M', 49 years, of Akabukwu, Nnewi, Anambra State.

Consequently, four pregnant young girls were rescued as follows:

(i). Chisom Okoye, 'f', 20 years, of Mgbaneze Isu, Onicha LGA,. Ebonyi State
(ii). Chinecherem Clement, 'f', 18 years, of Agbaebo Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State.
(iii). Blessing Ogbonna, 'f', 21 years, of Nkwagu Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State.
(iv). Blessing Njoku, 'f', 21 years, of Mgbaneze Isu of Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State, all residing at Cool Joint bar Nnewi.

Meanwhile, the Command is intensifying efforts to arrest the principal suspect, one Gladys Nworie Ikegwuonu, 'f', of Ohaozora, Ebonyi State, in order to bring her and other accomplices to Justice.

When I tell people that Anambra is littered with Ndi Ebonyi are nothing but a set back to our progress people think I am mean. Check all the names of criminal who have been arrested in Anambra and you will find out most are either , Imo , Ebonyi or Enugu. Go to Umuoji , my home town not a single Ebonyi or Imo man has a pin but they litter the whole place with refuse and commit all kinds of crimes.

Dave Umahi is busy building useless edifices that add no value to the life of average Ebonyi man while Anambra is filled with Ndi Ebonyi who are mostly involved in petty trading , okada and crimes. They breed like dogs and litter everywhere with children and mess.

Dave Umahi and his people have been taking turns to tell us how many white elephant projects he has build but what about the teeming poor masses of Ebonyi ? The useless governor has misplaced priority...you can compete with a person who is 100 miles ahead of you. The sort of gigantic projects Umahi is building show nothing but EGO TRIP.....I will show this Anambra people that always look down on us that we can beat them.

Of course , I have no problem with healthy competition but what exactly are we competing for when 1/4 of your population are feeding off my father's land. Take them back , clean them up and provide them with skills and jobs and stop the EGO TRIP with your useless gigantic projects.

I didn't even see this before I wrote mine.
Let Umahi continue with his "my papa house big pass your papa own" while his people sunk further into abject poverty

IDENNAA:

...As police discover baby factory, four pregnant young girls awaiting delivery

Ohaozara:
You always want to show off on this forum while attempting to bring others down. Continue your insults but note that we're taking note of all of them

Shut the hell up, you disgruntled ffhool. Anambra is popular because of many reasons which includes the features of many of our traditions on the Igbo culture, our historic significance, our strategic position on the map and a highly achieving individuals. Anambra is a mighty land and because of these we are highly spoken of. We don't blow our trumpets or star unnecessary threads to gloat but we will market and promote our brand. And , if that makes you sad... you can commit suicide for all I care!

You people have also been bragging all over the internet and taking jabs at us as if there was ever a competition. Imagine what will happen if you are in our position....Ndi Anambra are very civilized and hospitable. Your people have benefited so much from my father's land but all you do is abuse us....the land of my ancestors has fed and continued to feed your people but instead of you to be grateful , rather you came here to insult us.

Will they be writing about Anambra , Imo , Igbo or Uhrobo ? Please, write a sensible comment. We are talking about how the same Ebonyi people who have been badmouthing Anambra are the same people who get away with illegal business that are not tax-regulated. They live in cheap apartments , do petty business with no significance to our economy. They commit many crimes and have tons of babies. Who will take care of these children. If something is not done Anambra will become a den of criminals
