Thanks for your response. I won't pick system administrator, I will likely pick 263212 ICT SUPPORT ENGINEER. I still have a long way to go though. Still need to process my transcript to submit to ACS and I don't know how long oou will process it especially now that there is COVID

Good day people. Please I need an assistance on my wife’s PR application. She’s already onshore on a students visa and wants to apply for a PR visa ASAP. She has BSc in Microbiology and wants to assess as a Quality Assurance Manager as she worked in that capacity in Nigeria before she left.
So I want to ask if Vetassess will give her a positive assessment on that skill with a microbiology degree.

Hello everyone. I'm new on this.
I have B tech in Elect Elect. 35yrs of age.
Eights years plus experience as an electrical engr in a state ministry.
Also coren registered but don't know if it ll help.
Married but going alone for now
Yet to do IELTS but hopefully in the next three months and aiming for 8.
What are my chances. I did the scoring I got 75 in the 189 category and 85 in the 491 category.
I have gone thru the website u gave but don't seem to av a headway. How do I get to that aspect of seeing those im competing with?
I also found out I'm to be accessed by EA. Pls what is the financial implications of this assessment?

Quality assurance is a level 1 occupation.
AQF level is also important asides from the job descriptions and organogram especially with level 1 occupations.
Which university did you wife graduate from? And was it a 4 or 5 year course?

Yes, I was able to process my transcript, I applied online.
However there was a mistake in the transcript, I am waiting for them to fix the error, though they replied they are on strike and will fix as soon as they resume.

Please I need to really understand it.art administrator is a tier 1 occupation which needs a AQF level equivalent qualification but it's also stated that 5 or more years in the skilled occupation can substitute for AQF.
Does it mean if I have more years in the needed occupation without AQF .I'll have positive assessment?

You only stated your highest degree not your experience nor the years you graduated for the degrees
Web developer is a level 1 occupation assessed by ACS. It’s only available for 190 and 491.
Read about those two visa subclass as well.
At the moment, getting a 189 for offshore applicants is far-fetched though still reachable however other visa subsclass like the 491 can also get you in.

If the occupation you select is related to your experience and qualification and you have a positive assessment, you may be eligible for PR or 491 visa.
You didn’t state the occupation you have experience in and the one you are nominating

You seem to have a good profile. Hopefully you are able to get 8 in IELTS...that’s a huge feat to achieve which is why most go for PTE.
Recheck your scoring, the difference between 189 and 491 is 15 points not 10 points.
The assessing process and cost for Electrical engineer are available on the EA website.
Technician occupations also have availability than the main engineering roles. You may also want to consider Electrical engineering technician assessed by TRA.

If her first degree was from a tier 1 uni or 5 years ago, those years would have been approved.
Does she have any experience in Quality assurance after her Masters?
