Beync: would you just grow up! Why marry in the first place? don't you think you mum can make a good wife for you? Rubbish! I pity the woman that will marry you if truly this is how u reason. What kind of a woman would be singing 'satan don fall for ground o match am match am' even if the daughter inlaw have erred? Is that how to correct an erring person?Abeg, make we hear word. If hand fall the guy, him mama go stay, una go stay? When food done na him una dey like chop. |
Guys, una notice how these babes on NL dey advise the guy against staying with his mama. What's with spouses and mother in-laws? Mama get 70% of him pikin heart. Them give una(wife) 30%. After marriage una wan obtain the guy whole (100%), that na problem na. How mama go sitdown, the small girl wey them marry yesterday, go come dey do chairlady ontop her investment... Na war na! |
chrisdstar: Why would a married man live with the mother?,the Bible said for this reason(marriage) will a man leave his father and mother. Its ok 4 ur mum 2 come around but 4 her 2 cum and live, its pretty unacceptable. What on earth is wrong with him living with his mum? Because of one obo wey he marry so he should throwaway mama. |
warrior101: Since your mother(parent) spent all their money and time training you through primary to the university school, it is only normal that they protect and secure their investment.Guy, I like your words for this guy. |
Omo, forget all these babes wey dey NL wey dey advise you to tell your mum off, or send her back to villa. Guy, bone all 'em yans. Make you try relate with your mum; reason wetin be the wahala. I have these questions: Why do men in Nigeria feel having a pot-belly is a show of wealth? Why do girls turn "orobo" after marriage and childbirth? Why do guys buy girls phone recharge cards? Why do Nigerians form 5 lanes on a 2-lane road during slow traffic? Why do Nigerians clap when a plane lands, and rush to exit when the plane is still taxiing? Why some Nigerian guys still think obese girls are sexy? Why are Nigerian meals so unbalanced? Can somebody help with some answers? Thanks |
I think the country with the biggest noodle pack -Indomie hungry-man size...lol |
valicious1: First African country to launch aIn 1999, South Africa launched its first satellite, SUNSAT from Vandenberg Air Force Base. A second satellite, SumbandilaSat, was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in 2009. |

bobbyhenry: Thanks! Thanks!! Thanks!!!Bro, I found an institute in Dubai for your course. http://dubai.sae.edu/en-gb/home/ |
samally: please how do I go about there visa??Which country? |
Guys... Take a moment to think before you comment. This is not to defend the guy, but as an 'old boy' I think there are reasons to suggest otherwise: The man's age: This guy left Nigeria to US at a time when you had to say your older just to get a visa. Y'all know the drill, Then and now, embassies consider early & mid-20s as immigration risk. They'd rather issue visa to folks that are 30 or older because they think these group have some kind of ties to Nigeria. So the date of birth on his passport might not really be his true birthday. Marriage certificate: Most people claim they are married in visa application even when they single. Seeing a copy of marriage or divorce certificate might not mean a thing. In this case He could have claimed " married" just to get a visa to the US. Something else, the date on the marriage certificate matters. If its recent then he might be filing for his wife or someone not really his wife..you know, just to help bring her to the states. Also consider the LG authority or court that issued the certificate; This guy is igbo, so he probably married in one of the southeastern states. A Lagos issued certificate might mean marriage on paper only. ................................ Guys, make una reason na a! Make una no dey fall hand . The guy fit down pull some runs with the marriage certificate... And as 9ja Pali, boys dey raise age for visa runs. |
Sometimes, I wonder why we all waste time commenting about the do's and dont's of this government. These 'tardeens don't give a hoot about you and I. Better we live like there's no government because it doesn't fuking exit. Why bother hoping for one for over many years. Think of it, guys! These fatnecks leave office with their protege in place, and run the whole show behind the curtain. And the funniest part, they pretend like they aren't behind the curtain. Look at raghead IBB, kingkong OBJ & black macaque abdulsalami, they forever feel they own this country. It pisses me off seeing guys shows support for these crooks. Remember the newbie who won our support by rebelling against other senators, only to stick us the mid-finger with a 50 million Porsche. Sorry, was it a veron or Porsche? Dont remember. But that dude really really killed my trust in the whole political activists. They are all of the same bloodline. Greedy mofo's |
Sincere 9gerian: Face the issue and stop attacking persons. We must not agree on issues. The N16billion for veepee residence is obviously high. But my point is that there are institutions created to ensure that doesn't happen and they should DO THEIR JOB.Bro, those institutions would never do their job because they are all of the same bloodline: corruption. You think senate will fault the allocation process? No! These rep-niggas would never call "kettle" black. What's the difference between 'em w@nkers sitting on their butt allday on bonuses at senate and the fatfuks at Aso who spend a billion on toothpick? |
The country is gone to the dogs. Honestly, I really don't see things getting better. It just the same 'ole bleak news. In the land of the poor some dikhead is building a 7B mansion, now wants 9B for decoration. Can't we just do " gangnam style" on these dikheads? |
thelastPope: Lol! Another Nigerian in diaspora talking like he has a clue. Most of you are armchair critics who spew assumptions like true knowledge. Like I said before, you have no records or statistics, FRSC does. And yes for your info, there is road worthiness test, achohol test and more in FRSC. Ask questions and you will receive answers instead of talking as if you know. And the height of your ignorance is to say you didn't see psychiatric evaluation in the medical tests. Were you expecting him to spell out every detail of the policy and project in a press conference? You are veru funny. If you want the details, contact their office and you can learn a thing or too instead of criticising ignorantly on a public forum! Nigerians and their pride. Alway wanting to act like they know anything. If you knew even a little ounce, you would have contributed something to Nigeria's wellbeingMy friend, why are you putting so much effort to support FRSC? You and I know this is just a format for them to make money. What has Blood sugar and Blood pressure got to do with drivers license? |
omo babe: Hi good people of nairaland, please my question is can somebody get work in dubai with 2 months visa?I think it's not very easy. It'd be better to secure a job in UAE from Nigeria before traveling; this way it saves you the trouble of accommodation and feeding, and other expense. UAE is expensive. Even if you get a non-freezone job while on tourist visa, you'd have to exit UAE and re-enter with the employment permit. |
Let me give advice based on the countries I know. South Korea: Good country. Easy to get an admission for your kinda course, even scholarship. visa won't be a big issue. But ticket is expensive (about 350,000Naira to Inchon airport). You could spend 10-15$ a day on food. Part-time work available for students. Many Nigerians at Itaewon -downtown Seoul. Possible to marry a local or expat for residency (not quite easy), except say overfine dey worry you. Spiritual congi dey here wella! JAPAN: Less discrimination issues. Nice people. Possible to do the course there but no job opportunity after the course. Possible to marry a local if you fine reach mr nairaland. Extremely difficult to get their visa in Nigeria. Housing is expensive. Lots of business opportunity. Food is moderately expensive. Ticket is expensive. CHINA: Lots of school for your course; One is shanghai jaotong university. Scholarship is available. Teaching opportunity available. Discrimination issue if you "dudu" well well. Cheap food. Cheap housing. Business opportunity. Avoid Guangdong province; too many issues with the Nigerians and local authorities. Residency is easy.. Na your money. Ticket will cost about 180,000 or more . For china, you no go get " spiritual congi". UAE: Some schools are running the course. I doubt if there scholarship available. Forget 'toasting' a local...you wan ...? You fit use your money solve "congi issues"...lol. No hustle for the faint-hearted. Available job opportunity. Expensive housing, except you share. Ticket is cheap (105,000 -rwandair). Visa is easy. Your "owo" fit get you 2 year residency. SOUTH AFRICA: Oh, my lovely SA. This country sweet die. Lots of school for your course but no job opportunity. Residency is easy. Visa no be wahala. Other countries visa na wahala; You need permanent residence, which is possible after 5years in SA. Omoge plenty, any color you like. Spiritual congi will never be your portion in SA. Hustle too plenty if you get contact. Housing ranges from cheap to moderately expensive. Food is cheap. Avoid hillbrow. No-Gooders plenty for there. |
Sold |
It depends on the school location. Abudhabi central is expensive, but the outskirts have moderate housing cost, say 700aed/ month. Food won't be a problem. it's possible to live on 10aed a day if you cook at home. But you have to think of transportation; that's another headache. Better to live near school. |
What racism? Some of locals are black. There are many sudanese in there police force. I don't think these guys commenting here have really lived in UAE. |
bobbyhenry: Thanks boss!! I don't wish to stay more than 3months and the course I want to go for in France is available in Abu Dhabi. So, am staying just for 3months.AbuDhabi is good, but accommodation is expensive overthere; I think about 1200aed/month for a shared room. Cheaper rooms are available, but they wont be upto standard. Try Ajman or Sharjah; they are cheaper in living cost. Note: Jobs in AbuDhabi pay well |
baby_123: Why did they do this kind of contest all the way in Asia? Why not in an African country? Miss University Africa right? Anyway, African's understand the way they think. What exactly concerns Asia with African University beauty pageants? They just want to say they traveled out. LOL>Didn't you read the whole report? It's a world event. |
It's easy to get residency in SA, but quite difficult to get a third country visa from there until you have your permanent residence, which requires a five-year residency in SA. Dubai, you can get a work permit; either by "arrangee" or through direct employment; it will depend on your qualification. It has to be a good qualification. A good job in Dubai opens door to a lot of opportunity: visa to Europe, good life (if u get good job for Dubai or Abudhabi, you no go send Europe and their visa). If you really want to do a course, there are many countries; but if you want to go hustle then you really have to check the opportunities there. I don't know if France has good opportunity for hustlers to gain employment and residence. |
Bro, getting visa in 9ja is always tricky. Sometimes the travel experience and financial standing might not count. It won't be nice getting a Dubai visa in your passport, only for France not to issue you a visa owing to other reasons. How about doing this course in Dubai or SA, where you are sure of getting a visa? |
See how the western media portrayed the launch by NK. They were negative about this achievement, except for a few. It goes to show their bias. But think of it, it's a great achievement by this country regardless of your political views. |
Kikijan: Why you don't like how Nigerians look like?Really? What abt the remaining 0.01%? |
yankidelta: Nice app there and sorry for the loss and inconvenience. Would this app still have worked if the thieves probably pulled out the battery immediately after the theft?Difficult to access iPhone battery. The phone is sealed tight. Even the sim card slot needs a weird metallic pin to release the slot, and that comes with the phone |
The sad news for those rushing to get the app is that it won't really be of help to non-iPhone users. The reason is the detachable back covers on your phones. Most phones (except iPhones) can be turned off by removing the battery, but not iPhone. iPhone is sealed tight with really tiny screws that requires a kinda special "star" screw drivers. That's the reason these mo'fos couldn't not turn off the phone by removing the battery. |
fittty: Why don't you want them there? Or are you broke? Why do folks have this kinda weird reasoning? She has decided to invite only 300 people, and that's it! Everything ain't about money, you numbnut! |
Just the western double standard. |
Curious readers beware: in the British police state, merely possessing a copy of the supposed al-Qaeda magazine Inspire will get you a twelve month stint in the hoosegow. Last Thursday, the sister of two men convicted of planning a Christmas 2010 terror plot – including blowing up a toilet at the London Stock Exchange – was jailed after British authorities found a digital copy of the magazine on the memory card of her cell phone. Judge Adrian Fulford said he accepted Ruksana Begum’s explanation that she downloaded the magazine to better understand her brothers’ case. He said, however, he had no choice but to send her to prison, according to the Associated Press. Begum “accessed this material, which is easily accessible, before coming to London to understand the background and ideology which led to her brothers’ incarceration,” said her lawyer, Hossein Zahir. Begum’s conviction and incarceration set a dangerous precedent – people can now be sent to prison for merely having literature on their computers and cell phones. Inspire: A Magazine Produced by a Pentagon Dinner Guest Inspire is said to be the work of Anwar al-Awlaki, the Pentagon dinner guest who worked for the FBI. According to the official 9/11 narrative, al-Awlaki preached to three of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, the accused Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan and the so-called underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. According to the government, he was promoted to the rank of “regional commander” within al-Qaeda in 2009. He was added the CIA’s list of targets because he was considered an “imminent threat” in 2010. He was allegedly killed in October of 2011 by a CIA Predator drone in Yemen and supposedly called for biological attacks on America from the grave the following year. In September 2011, Iran said the CIA is behind Inspire, not followers of Osama bin Laden, after the magazine criticized Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for stating that the U.S. government staged the 9/11 attacks as a pretext to invade and occupy the Middle East. http://www.infowars.com/woman-sentenced-to-year-in-prison-for-having-supposed-al-qaeda-magazine/ |
