rajiade: I can't just help but keep wondering if Nigeria is now turning out to be the country of the Brainless Moronic Dafts. With the type of comments here, one can conclude that majority of those on this forum are brainless, hopeless and senseless Nigerians.Bro, thanks for the post. I was forced to comment when I saw the banal posts from some dickheadds that followed Buhari's speech. Honestly, I thought most folks would applaud someone standing up and sticking the truth to the shameless coons in leadership. But criticize Buhari for airing our dirt? That's a new low. |
iv4fb: Waiting for the British member of parliament or of the US to come wash their dirty linens in Nigeria. We'll never learn joor. Mugabe is right in that aspect, the british and Americans can never be trusted-they're part of our problems in NigeriaBritish and Americans are the cause of your problem? You didn't read the part -18,000 bureaucrats feeding fat on 1.12 Trillion Naira |
Benjoh: ............. 2weeks ago Bill Clinton said the same thing while he was passing speech on EKO atlantic of FASHOLA,that Nigeria viruses are Bad leaders and Corruptions,he stated this on our soil so what is new about what Buhari has uttered? In fact We are all Monkey as whites do call us. Ingrate.Don't mind the Monkeys! Let us pretend all is hunky dory in Nigeria. |
Ayeye A. Ayeye:His mouth isnt more dirty than a nation called Nigeria where people still defecate in the open. This is 2013, man! There's something called mobile toilets. |
gboss4sure: Buhari should go and sleep. He went their to talk trash but didn't give just 1 solution to the problems he mentioned. He proffered a lot of solution. Probably you didn't want to read that. He said, " generate power, encourage agriculture, build industries, employ the youths, provide small credit to sme's...." |
Tell me anything good about this nation. No light No water No roads No security No welfare No adequate healthcare No good public transport. No nightlife No good tertiary education No good government services No good electoral process High infant mortality High level of corruption High level of extra judicial killing High number of touts on roads High level environmental pollution High cost of housing High number of abuse cases People still pee on road sides People still believe in witchcraft People worship men as god People are aggressive and wicked |
the Chairman pointed out that 18,000 public officers consume in the form of salaries, allowances and other perquisites N1.126 trillion naira (£4billion) of public funds. The total Nigerian budget for 2013 is N4.9 trillion (£20 billion). This is the worst form of corruption and oppression.Whine on about the messenger! Forgeting the fact that a few bigheads have kept us in darkness for years, literally. |
genxris: It's very obvious that this man is very desperate to move into aso rock. This is same man who sent off a democratically elected president off from power. It's not about the messenger, it's about the MESSAGE! The system in its present state is shittt! Judiciary is rubbish, leadership is absent, corruption everywhere. Why shoot the messenger? |
Well, these gov't lackeys think its wrong to air our ills. I see nothing wrong, I see a lot wrong with people keen enough to support a horrendously corrupt ruling class. Imagine 18,000 gov't folks feeding on 25% of national budget. Ain't the rest of us fools? |
talk2s: Oh yes, he was 'obviously telling the truth' as claimed by many.Nothing wrong with the audience. |

The total Nigerian budget for 2013 is N4.9 trillion (£20 billion). This is the worst form of corruption and oppression. You all see where the problem lies? Why would anyone feel aggrieved by Buhari's comment. He had simply reinforced the truth that we all know -the nigerian nation is running on a broken system...And heading towards a failed state |
Bloodofjesus: please put me through,i want to go south korea through language school but the school said i can only come with c3 visa, please hope i will not find it difficuit with immigration at port of entryYoung man, you want to learn Korean or hustle in Korea? Well, I know it's the latter. Don't waste your time thinking you can hustle and also mark your attendance at school everyday. Those that tried it only regretted wasting thousands of dollar every 3 months on tuition. Many gave up renewing their alien card, and joined the factory lines as illegals. That also leaves them vulnerable to police raid and deportation, and a possible 5-year ban. |
WestAfrican: Well am not sure if you can extend it presently. Thou some people where fortunate to get theirs extended. Most times, these people do not follow the information they give to the public via internet. A friend worked illegally until he left for Germany. Factory workers earn almost USD2,000 - USD2,500.C3(tourist visa ) to D4 (trainee) is possible. You don't need to exit the country. But if you arrive Korea on C3, you will a lot of issues with immigration at Inchon Airport. For Nigerian passport, you'd need a local guarantor before you are allowed entry. Factory salary for illegals : $1200~$1400 |
Guys, my neighbors run their power generator all night. It's so noisy. Does anyone know a cheap way to fabricate a silencer kit or casing for these tiger gens? By the way, with all the engineers in Nigeria, I wonder why there's no local company converting all these tiger gens to soundproof. I reckon it'll be a profitable venture. I am thinking of constructing a cube casing with foam lining to absorb the sound by placing the gen set in the casing. I wonder if this will work. The challenge is wood casing with foam lining or sponge lining might do the trick but the wood will rot in this 9ja rainy weather. How about a metal casing? |

At the end of such an inquest, there'd only be a revelation of French involvement or a denial. But we all know that the west operate on a policy of spinning their law to suit whatever objective at hand. they are quite inconsistent when it has to do with oversea military or paramilitary involvement. One case is the killing of AlMaliki in Yemen. This guy was an American citizen, and the US law requires the govt to afford him the right to self-defense in a court of law. But he was extra-judicially killed by the CIA using their ominous drones. What about Gadaffi? Did they West compel the present Libyan gov't to investigate why the ex-leader of Libya was summarily executed in the custody of the rebels now in charge of govt supported by the west? Isn't that double standards? What about the collateral damage taking place in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia. They drop bombs to kill one so-called terrorist, but they also kill 10 innocent by-standers. It's pathetic. They created this problems in the first place. From Afghanistan to Mali. It's their short-sightedness that is creating all these hot spots with their itinerant military. They armed the mujahideens(russo-afghan war) that later took over Afghanistan as the Taliban. They destroyed the stabilizing force in northern Africa and over-supplied weapons to the rebels in Benghazi. Now excess weapons are being used to wreak havoc in Mali and Niger, even in Nigeria. |
Frankly, you can't compare Nigeria to South Africa, not in economy, infrastructure , education etc. it pisses me off when Nigerians argue all is hunky dory in Nigeria. We have serious issues in Nigeria. Issues that would make any investor dread setting foot in this country. The most poignant is the level of ignorance and corruption on display. |
Known as Africa's Che Guevara, Captain Sankara was hailed by many as a charismatic and revolutionary leader. But he was killed in October 1987 when his former leading associate, current President Blaise Compaore, seized power in a coup d'état. “An inquest will reveal France’s responsibility. I’ll be quite happy if France is not implicated. But the important thing is that the obscurity surrounding death will be brought to light," Chassaigne told Press TV correspondent Ramin Mazaheri on Friday in Paris. Many say that Sankara was killed with the help of the intelligence agencies of the United States andFrance. His reforms included nationalization of natural resources, environmental protection, land redistribution, and most notably, the rejection of foreign aid and debt repudiation, which was meant to avert the power and influence of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, but which also created many enemies for the young revolutionary. Sankara became president after seizing power in a coup in August 1983 when he was just 33 years old. He renamed the country, which was formerly known as Upper Volta, Burkina Faso, which can be translated as “Land of Upright Men” or “Land of the Honest People.” Captain Sankara began a nationwide literacy campaign, and 2.5 million children were vaccinated against meningitis, yellow fever, and measles duringhis time in office. In addition, over ten million trees were planted to halt the desertification of the Sahel, and wheat production was doubled. Sankara was also a great supporter of women’s rights. He outlawed female genital mutilation and forced marriages and appointed women to high posts in the government. With the Cold War still on, such leftist reforms drew immediate retaliation. France has yet to acknowledge its role and most probably will not do so in the foreseeable future. Even though the French media has largely ignored the call for a parliamentary inquiry, Sankara’s legacy as an anti-imperialist and socialist visionary remains immense. "He proved that Africa and the developing world can produce leaders who can set examples for the entire world. Sankara represents an ideal, which many Western leaders failed to attain,” Chassaigne stated. “The world is poorer that he is not with us today,” he added. For Burkina Faso, Sankara’s revolution died with him. France immediately recognized the coup of Compaore, who has held power ever since. Sankara's policies were reversed, and Burkina Faso has become one of the world’s poorest and least- developed nations. However, it is said that the spirit of Sankara lives on in the hearts of many revolutionaries across the world. |
igwekadillac: so u to trll me that confrence visa will not help at all and i cant change it is that what u mean and it will be difficult for me to change it and look for work and hussle in there is that what u are trying to say .Guy, You can change status to student visa if you are able to get stamped-in at Inchon airport. Basically, student status is the only available option if you entered korea on C3 (tourist) visa. Regarding D8 (investment) visa, you require a minimum of 100,000,000 Korean won to set up a foreign direct investment through Hana Bank or Korea Exchange Bank. But then, the capital is just the beginning of your wahala. You need an office, accommodation, a local worker, quarterly tax filing, evidence of export..etc. if you have such money why bother relocating to Korea when you can start a Profitable business in Nigeria or Ghana. |
igwekadillac: can someone enter south korea as if he is going for a conference then he willl then stay there what type of visa will they give to him and whats the duration of the visa if i may ask please thanksConference/tourist visa is C3 visa valid for 90days. Though the embassy here might issue an initial 30-day visa, you can extend to 90days at local immigration office. But a warning: korean immigration officers know the Nigerian trick. I doubt if they will admit you into the country on a tourist visa if the conference isnt very important. First time visitors go through the investigation room before they are stamped into the country. Your "wahala" doesn't stop after you've been granted entry into Korea. Changing your visa status in Korea is hard. For D8 visa, you'd need about 100 Million Won for your FDI., and you'd have to employ a Korean, pay export taxes and file your company tax every 3 months. In short , student visa(d4) is easy but their law makes life difficult on a student visa . Spouse visa(f2) is the best visa but which korean girl want marry "dudu" from 9ja? Well, some still marry, sha! |
Guy, Korea no easy. Ticket alone is about 340K. Visa here doesnt grant you entry. First-time Nigerian visitors must enter investigation room, and your inviter would have to stand as guarantor on arrival; most times they will call him on phone. Sometimes for those on C2 visa(business) you might be asked to answer a questionnaire related to international trade. You'd go through some interrogation before they call your guarantor. Korea Immigration officers are tough and mean. They know Nigerians are aggressive, so they don't handle us with kid's glove; coupled with the efforts of Nigerian drug mules - theyhave soiled our image overthere. There's no hustling in Korea...if na "amala" you wan hustle, 7 yrs if you be boy boy! Oga fit chop life sentence. except you just want hustle Omo Yankee to enter God's own country... But then you must fine like banky w to fit catch babe. for local babe, e go hard you. There are factory jobs that pay 1200$ monthly, but you can't get a work permit to do these jobs. You can work illegally which leaves you without any labor protection and insurance cover. The police are always on the look-out for illegal workers. Don't even think of studying and working? Korea immigration won't let you do that. You have to sign attendance register everyday at school. Inshort Korea is a tough place, and even tougher these days. |
Gangnam is an expensive area. Anyway if you really wanna have fun, there's a popular bar "Harlems" near Apgujeong station. The chicks here are quite trendy and not "sending" you if you are not like Chris Brown. Itaewon station is a very interesting place to visit. Many foreigners- including Nigerians -reside in this part of Seoul. Opposite Hamilton hotel at itaewon there are many low budget places to enjoy Asian cuisine: Thai, Turkish, Japanese etc. Around the station, opposite IBK Bank, there's a popular restaurant for Africans called "Ajuma Half Chicken", you'd love his chicken stew n rice. Don't miss the Nigerian restaurant on the second floor opposite Ajuma half chicken. Now somewhere around this joint is the famous hooker hill...lol. Too many ho's on parade at hooker hill. Pls pls don't drink with this chicks...they might appear all slushy but na ya pocket oo! Checkout the Barbie Ho's on display in wedding gowns along Yongsan station. They look Hot!, but won't let you in if you are not Korean or Japanese. Finally, Korea is an expensive place! |
shagry1: Haba madam! please now try to get it from there cus is expensive over here. 3kg of beans and 3kg of Garry is ok for me. thanks in advanceAren't you tired of Garri and Beans? You could try the local cuisine in Dubai, even Indian cuisine- chicken biryani, chicken curry with flat bread, Daal, Masala, etc. i guess that's the joy of visiting and experiencing another country. |
