She's about the only square peg in a square hole in this tinubu government. Your assertion does not take anything away from Umahi. We know una. Just like yesterday when mad dogs castigated the same Bianca. If you forget, we cannot forget. Hypocrisy 101. |

grandstar: It goes without saying that lottos are usually for bonafide residents of a country. There should be somewhere in the terms and conditions saying this. You may be right. But if he saw the conditions and still participated then, he is the next in line to the throne of the most stupid. |
Travel › Re: Nigerian Man Unable To Claim Italian Lottery Win Gains Residency Permit - Italy by ppogba: 2:19pm On Jun 16 |
Smartguyboy: Using a recent exchange rate of about ₦1,595 per €1, €500,000 would be worth approximately:
€500,000 × ₦1,595 = ₦797,500,000
So the prize is roughly ₦798 million (about ₦800 million when rounded).
If we use slightly different exchange rates currently seen in the market, the value would be between ₦785 million and ₦800 million.
With this amount you will never work in your life again if you invest the money in TB or mutual funds. But the illiterate prefer to open shop . Mr smart investor, the earlier you realize that investment does not revolve, start and end with MMFs and TBs, the better for you. What you know is not the all in all. |

grandstar: Nothing wicked at all.
Their country was builtfor their citizens not illegal migrants.
There is a scarcity of jobs in Italy and even locals find it hard to get formal jobs. Their economy has barely grown since 1999, so the last thing they will want is clueless Africans who know next to nothing about Italy to come add to the mess on ground.
If you want to travel, do so legally. The terms and conditions of the lottery should have stated that ab initio. I totally agree with every of your argument but if they could allow him participate without the conditions being made clear, then, something is wrong and fishy. |

Oyinbo people wicked pass Chinedu that tied her sister down.
He won a lottery but you denied him because he is undocumented. Would it not have been ideal to have disqualified him ab initio?

Make we kuku sell Nigeria to a consortium of comedians like Ali Baba, Basket Mouth and the rest. If not, how come UAE handed a long list of people financing terrorism with billions of whatever currencies and yet not a single one has been brought to book but someone who transferred N20,000?

I never had the opportunity to choose from any of the options he mentioned. I received an alert today telling me of that it is "Unity bank pay off". |

NSEstudent: Well, sometimes some people get lucky.
Some dude I know got a state civil service job immediately after graduation, after training himself in adult school. At the age of 32. He did not lobby for it as most people do.
Today he's also shortlisted by the Ministry of Interior Board that handles paramilitary recruitment for ASI II in Immigration and is now left to choose between it and his State Civil Service job.
We always talk about the trap that is civil service abi public service, but some people still pay hundreds of thousands to lobby for those jobs but some random guy now has 2.
What I'm saying is that some things are fair in the country. Our system though allows some agencies and corporations to do these things when it involves only the members of 99% of the society. You are not totally wrong. |

When you talk about Mr. DJT, an hour is too long. I just hope a screw in the brain will not just become loose before then. But, as a Nigerian, I am more bothered about the Crude price and it's effect on us all. |
