damilola4162: Super Eagles forward, Taiwo Awoniyi has allegedly won the heart of many supporters following the completion of a modern-day dressing room at the Sheikh Abdulkadir College in Adewole, Ilorin, in the Kwara State.
It is on the college pitch that Awoniyi's local team in Ilorin trains on a daily basis, and it was there the former Liverpool striker was discovered before moving to Olofinjana Academy.
Many players who started with Awoniyi are still training on the pitch, with the team now known as Unicorn Academy after they became affiliated with the Kwara State Football Association.
According to an exclusive interview Sports Brief conducted with Awoniyi, he explained there were many things he was still planning to improve things for his local teamto do at the place his local team uses for training.
The Nottingham Forest star explained he wanted to improve the appearance and facilities at the college pitch to help attract other young players.
"Everyone knows that it was on that pitch that I started my football career... I am also planning to change the pitch to artificial grass from the sandy ground it is so that it can be perfect for young players to show their talents."

However, I believe the experience you have garnered in the last eight years wailing about your imaginary Jubril from Sudan, the refusal of the American government to bomb Nigeria because your lord and savior MNK is relishing his watery beans amongst other self inflicted calamity should see you through. Congratulations in advance and sleep well if you wish. |

wonder233: The buildings have C of Os and all the necessary approvals issued by the same state government. Nigerians aren't stupid, before a Nigerian will part with N50m to buy a property, you think he won't make sure everything is intact to the needle? During the elections, someone boasted they were coming to "teach these ibos a lesson". Make you no dey loud your ignorance outside o. Just a piece of advice. The buildings have a C of O that they showed to you? Who told you Nigerians are not stupid to gamble blindly with N50m. Who is that nameless fellow that vowed to deal with Igbos after the election? Jokerman: Too much Okay, I will volunteer to enlighten you. 1. The cost of search will depend on the value of the land you want to buy. If you want to buy a plot worth N25m, the price will be different from a plot of 500k. 2. Search (es) are different depending on who is conducting it. A thorough search by a good lawyer will not end up at government agencies or offices. It starts from the family compound of the owner of the land, finding out who and who are the signatories being portrayed, number of wives and children of the owner in addition to the consent or otherwise of all necessary claimant to the land. 3. A thorough search can take any one conducting it even to where you never envisaged. Buttom line, building a house is not bread and butter. |

Lukuluku69: Another one is inside the Army Barracks after Trade Fair Complex. I was shocked when I saw the amount of Private Buildings inside that Barracks the day I took my son to write the Common Entrance Exams some years ago inside the Barracks.
I had to ask an Army man and he said and I quote " Army never ready for them". Massive Buildings, rows upon rows. And I was like, inside an Army Barracks? Tell me something. Inside army barracks? Are you aware of various issues.even in places like Kaduna where the NA, NAF or NN will just wake up one day and start chasing people away from their residences. Investigations always reveal that the lands were acquired years ago and that the fore fathers of the people complaining now are actually aware of the acquisition. Believe you me, as the army man you quoted said, when they are ready for them, dem go hear wen. |

MASTAkiLLAh: We all know why those buildings were destroyed even without allowing occupants pack their belongings Common sense should dictate that there must have been notices given by the relevant government agencies. Common sense should dictate that even if they bring.a battalion of officers, the moment those officers see efforts being made at salvaging items and properties,.you will still be able to get somethings out. Common sense dictates that even when it is glaring that the buildings will be destroyed, an average Nigerian will be hoping against hope with the believe that the issue will be resolved when they get to the bridge. |

nifemi25: None of the building demolished there will cost less than 40 million..... why not contact the ministry of land for enquiry on the land before you purchased..... at least you would have been informed if its government acquisition land .....millions just get wasted If as a lawyer, you charge an average Nigerian N100k to conduct search on a land they are ready to build on, not only will they tell you the money is too much but they will also tell you they have much trust in the omo- onile than you as a lawyer. #mentality. |

You can see them on sm mouthing 'we will recover our mandate ' . So to them, there is something ( no matter how imaginary or unrealistic) to hope for. Likewise, the youths if other tribes cajoled into the Obidients movement are wiser now knowing fully well that there is more to Obidients. |

Who doesn't know that Tinubu hated igbos with Passion.
Tinubu hates igbos but Buhari is a Tribal bigot who hates Igbos with everything in his body.
Buhari is not worthy to be called a president of Nigeria, he is full with hatred against igbos.
If Buhari sees poison he will poison all the Igbos in Nigeria.
Buhari is the most Tribalistic bigotry president in the history of Nigeria.
Know this and know peace I may agree with everything you wrote but not that Tinubu hates Igbos. If actually he does, Ben Akabueze would never have been a commissioner in Lagos. If he hates Igbos, the number of primary and secondary school teachers on the payroll of Lagos recruited during his tenure will not be there. At least, he is kind enough not to sack workers from Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo and Abia state when he was a governor. |

TV/Movies › Re: NANS Gives Multi-choice Company Seven Days To Begin Pay-as-you-view Billing Or.. by ppogba: 2:27pm On Apr 26, 2023 |
nairalanda1:

NANS should consider that
1.Multichoice has thousands of Nigerians working for them directly and indirectly, and they all want to be PAID WELL
2.The people worldwide who make the TV programees and bring you the stuff you want to watch also want to be PAID WELL.
3.The equipment used to bring you those DSTV shows, were made by people who want to be PAD WELL
4.The Premier league is made up of football players and so forth who want to be PAID WELL
5.Health and other insurance costs a lot of money for workers who want to be PAID WELL.
6. No one in Nigeria has done pay as you go. No country in the world where DSTV is has pay as you go. Because it cannot work for a system where workers want to be PAID WELL.
7. Did TSTV's pay as you go work.? No, because ....PAID WELL.
NANS should realize that when prices go up, it is because a lot of people, not just the rich and mightly...but a lot of poor people who work and pay bills and so forth...want to be.....PAID WELL.
Maybe NANS should set up their cheap version of DSTV and bid for programme rights....or tell their members to patronize STARTIMES. STARTIMES last i checked is VERY VERY CHEAP. They know all these you mentioned. All they are saying is, let multichoice operate the Pay As You View system which they have in other countries where they operate. I do not think this is too much after all, we are always quick to mention international best practices in this part of the world. |
