deeway200: I remember cannadia loud falling from a student pocket. Nowadays students can smoke anything. I have stopped cautioning them cause I am even scared of them now The truth is,the situation is graver and more serious than the society can imagine. Talk to the people involved in the entire chain, like teachers, psychologists, mental health practitioners and you will know that all what is being debated is just a tip. |
Family › Re: Pay Attention To Your Sons - Teacher Opens Up On Shocking Experience In School by ppogba: 7:00am On May 18 |
GboyegaD: I was talking to a group of teachers recently and you can tell they are not allowed to admit basic first aid. The discussion was due to us being called that my nephew who is a boarder had cold and we should come pick him from school. You know they gave us this consent form to sign that should our wards die in school, we wouldn't sue Lagos State Government.
A teacher also mentioned how she almost got sacked for administering paracetamol. The parent if the child claimed they only use herbs for their child and it became a big issue.
It is unfortunate what we have turned things to but what can we all do? You cannot blame the teachers and hardly can you blame the government too. In these days of social media when Misinformation travels at a supersonic speed, an action or an inaction of a teacher earning an honest living may turn to something else. Then, you and I will be analysing, castigating and condemning on Nairaland. We have seen that before. Emergency doctors and lawyers will then join the fray. |

MadPolitician: They just want to dent Rangers league winning performance. I mean bad refereeing is the normal template in nigerias league for years. Is there any serious referee in this league? You have matches going over ten minutes extra time, never ending, untill the host scores. Steady occurrence every week. Very corrupt league.. You are very correct even if for the first time. If you follow a league match and the away team is having a good result until the 90th minute, just know that the game has just begun. Totally agree with you. na all of them be thief. They have only decided to call Rangers Barawo . |
