Sir historically African teams have shocked many giants on the world stage. The Cameroun WC team of 1982 did not lose any games, even playing 1-1 against the eventual champions Italy. Same Cameroun defeated Maradona led Argentina in 1990 and even finishing the game with 9 men. What about the heroics of our team against one of the tournament's favorite Spain in 1998, Senegal beating France in 2002, our famous Olympic gold in 1996 against the Bebeto, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos inspired Brazil?
Even in 94, do you know we beat the eventual 4th place finished Bulgaria at the WC, hands down. Our problem remains organization and admin and of course that affects the kind of coaches we hire. If we get those two right, we would definitely improve.

The pressure is on us given our performance at the last mundial. African football has caught alot of flack since then. We need to perform well this year.

The passion that the Saudis exhibited today is something that Nigeria and African football desperately lacks. Whenever our team is pitted up against a giant, most times we already accept the fact that we'll fail and and this is reflected in our gameplay.

With KSA's win, I actually feel that the pressure on African teams has just been turned up by a 100. Asian football may be surpassing African football for good

With each game and with each goal celebration, the thunder pressing up for dem nff guys and African pep is as huge as hulk and will hit all of them appropriately for contributing to us missing the mundial.

Seeing the level of play from the games today, we don't deserve to be there. We would've embarrassed ourselves on the world stage. NFF needs a tactical overhaul.
