For how long will I work before I raise enof funds to be well established and how old would I be wen I finally do?
Those are questions Dat hardly come to people's mind wen Dey hear mbbs.

A lot think wen u graduate with mbbs money would start flooding in immediately. Is Dat how it works?

Don't qill like dreams like I did way back! It will cost ur reversible years! And I don't want hear any1 nag abt stayin 1 more year at home! Some stayed 9yrs at home and didn't die! Be like a cheetah dat locks on to his and chases it without letting go!

ayodeji752: I was given admission in ui tru elds. I am very sure ui does merit, locality(d six southwestestern states) and elds. I later ignored d admission cos i wanted mbbs. D cuttoff ui just released is only for merit but i dont trust dis prof Adewole cos it seems he derives pleasure in candidates not being admitted. D admission capacity for ui is abt 6500 but he might not be admittin more dan 3000 as usuall. Unilag admitted over 300 in its law dept while ui wont be admittin more dan 130 in same dept. Ui, d first but d worst. They are d best in denyin intelligent candidates admission.silly prof Adewole

HouseOfBalloons: no. That's the misconception people are having here. If there are 7 spaces left in say, botany. Ui will pick the best 7 that applied and leave the rest. Scoring 50+ is NOT a guarantee for admission. 6000+ scored above 50 and ui won't admit more than 3500

oluafolabi: That's the issue with COC, UI has a particular number of slots for every dept that they must not exceed. So if the original number of people that picked a course and passed are not enough to fill the slot, they will pick the highest scores from those that did COC and applied to that course. Hope you get it? So it depends on the available number of slots, those that passed, and the scores of the people that picked a course for the COC. So it's possible to do COC and still not gain admission.

1. Are u a student of UI
2. Mechanical engineering is 60 but I got 58, is dia any means of being in the merit list.
3. When is the COC likely to commence.
4. Those that did COC, will they do clearance the same time with those in the merit list.
5. Which course do I need to swerve to which will make my crossing over to mechanical engineering department feasible
6. If one does COC and there is still space in his desired course, will he still be given his desired course.
