Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Taking this to Relative velocity If the river is flowing at 20m/s and Jonathan rows at a speed of 2m/s eastwards or North eastwards then the speed at which Jonathan will move is gonna be 22m/s. If he rows Westwards or North westwards against the current then the speed at which he will go is gonna be less, 18m/s. Which will enable him to be able to get to Otueke without the river taking him beyond his destination.

Now you are bringing speed into it when you told a guy that "under normal circumtances". And even if the speed is 22m/s and he is smart, he'll have calculated when to turn the boat in the North-east direction in order not to go beyond his destination.

All is well. I just hope such tricky question don't appear in my system. I go just switch off the computer with ibinu.

Taking the boat North-West when the river flows eastward doesn't sound logical either (because the force from the river will keep pushing the boat eastward, except you want to say his boat is the engine type). North-East will do.

You are right. Dibu of a thing is all about Nigerian youths' money. He has no feeling at all. Stingy and shameless. Remember when we used to do our Jamb registration at nearby cafes, easily and conveniently. It happened to be that Dibu got jealous of those cafe guys with the money they made. As if the one he himself would get wasn't enough, he stopped all cyber cafe operators from processing Jamb registration and created his own special centres (of course, where the money would be going to Jamb directly instead of those poor cafe guys who would use the money they make from the business to support their education)

I dunno why Jamb hasn't been scrapped yet. It's all about corruption. Take for example, WAEC, your WAEC result will still be valid for a good number of years, whereas Jamb's validity is just a year (so that when you fail this year, you get ready to pay another money into their pocket the following year, you get the scam)

We've got no choice than yield to them. It's well.
