I passed out of the NYSC program 2yrs ago. My last 3months allowance were unpaid, I did everything I could with my clearance form and bank statement of account yet no success.
I know this happened a long time ago but I really want to know if someone else had such experience. Its annoying whenever i remember it because I stressed myself all for nothing.

I'm a married woman and went to NYSC camp as one. Still VERY young and beautiful, yet the thought of messing up never crossed my mind. I wore my ring all through and respected myself. Did I make male friends? Yes I was friendly to a handful of guys and whenever I go to mami market I enjoy their company and nothing more. My hubby got to know some names coz I am a very transparent person.
What am I saying? Whether single or married, we all can be faithful to our partners if we choose to cos its a matter of choice, discipline, integrity, true love and focus.

I don't have a maid and I'm not thinking of getting one.
My opinion: its better you send that child to a "poor" school and still treat him/her like your fellow human being than not sending the child to school at all.

Worrying about your family in my humble opinion will have to do with her fear of them accepting her the way she is. Its your duty to reassure her and also make sure your family don't make her a prey to bully or insult. Its your duty to make your family ilunderstand that being with her is your choice and decision. My hubby never allowed ANYONE cross borders with me.

Hahahahaha I'm just having a good laugh over here. Let me start by saying that I had a child before getting married, not because there is no money for abortion but because I chose to keep my child. Again the father never denied me but I had reasons for not marrying him then. I don't want to quit my education and I was sure that we were not ready for marriage.
Long story short, I can count my mates that got married before me but HONESTLY I can't count the ones that I got married before and the ones still unmarried. I graduated from sch at the right age, got married at the right age, had kids for my hubby at the right age and most importantly I am living a fulfilled life. I am not married to dangote but I lack NOTHING. My husband literally adores me and sorry to burst your bubble, he is just a few years older than me so we are more like age mates. I never lived a promiscuous lifestyle and since I got married, have never cheated on my husband.
I don't support premarital sex but when it happens, keeping your child should be the only option. I forgot to add that my husband begged me to marry him, never threw myself at him.

On CV reviews:
I have thought of a simple solution to deal with the large number of unattended CV's in my inbox. I have had a brief look at some of the CV's and some of them need to be properly cleaned up. Some of them are quite impressive, I must also confess.
I have decided to write 4 sample CV's for fresh graduates with varied degrees, grades and courses so as to ensure applicability to as many fresh graduates as possible irrespective of background. I have already started writing them at my spare time. I have completed two. Once I am done writing the 4, I will do a quick refresher on CV writing and post the samples here for reference purposes only (They are expected serve as guides ONLY. They are to be used necessarily as templates). I will also send the e-copies (in MS Word) to a select few who can help in sending it to anyone that may need it. That's how far I may practically be able to go with CV review due to time constraints.

xfire: Simply because most engineers have B.Eng. There are very few engineering graduates with BSc in non-engineering courses. So it's tough to make a good comparison.
With a PGD + MSc in chemical engineering, I believe you stand a chance like every other chemical engineering graduate out there in the job market. Just make sure you obtain your MSc in a notable institution of learning and you have good grades.
