Politics / Re: Tribute To Ojukwu On What Would Have Been His 89th Birthday by praxs(m): 3:10pm On Nov 03, 2022
gidgiddy:
I want to send my tributes to the man I consider the greatest Igbo man to have walked the surface of the earth, on what would have been his 89th Birthday. The man who rose and fought for the freedom of his people, no matter the cost, at a time when all others chose to bow to the Caliphate out of fear

The Peoples General, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu

Ikemba! Dikedioramma! Eze Igbo Gburu-Gburu!

I bless your soul wherever you may be. You went to Aburi to prevent war, they broke Aburi agreement and brought war

You told them that Nigeria would never work unless it was a loose federal arrangement, they created multiple states to make the centre more powerful and less federal

You warned them that "One Nigeria' should be by negotiation and not force, they said that all that Nigeria needed to be great was to be together

You told them that oppression, tyranny and injustice will never bring peace, they called you a fool for rising up to fight against those vices

You warned them that the problem of Nigeria was in the foundations, and if the foundations were not revisited, anything built on top would fail. They ignored you

Today, you have been vindicated. The Nigeria you fought against turned out to be a disaster. The "one Nigeria" they said is everything, has become the worthless slogan of political thieves. Everything you warned against, came to happen. It is no longer in dispute that you were right to fight, even if you did not succeed

Happy Birthday Ikemba, keep resting in the Lord

Continue to Rest In Peace. You did what you had to do for your people!

I don’t support Tinibu and will never support him because of his choice of Vp. However, your words are beyond politics, we shouldn’t lose our senses when we castigate politicians.what’s with the name calling? I can imagine if someone calls your mother a prostitute because your father is vying for a political seat

Biafra and Aduduwa dream is coming to reality because of the foolishness of Northerners.
The best thing for them to do rite now is to leave tinubu and Peter Obi to fight it out since they have just had their shares and completed their term for equity and unity.

Nigeria military forces is already overwhelmed with crisis around the country, adding regional agitation will only lead to serious unrest and breakup.

Obasanjo saw this coming during his time and he was able to manage the fall out by returning power to North and pacify Niger Delta agitations.
The slowpoke we have in power is not thinking of equity, unity and peace but just Fulani born to rule mentality.
The country can burn if need be.

North should think of the consequence of the polity they r playing before they set the country ablaze and consume everyone in the inferno.

Hypocrite. 2011 and 2015, it was asserted that it was turn of the north. Swear you did not vote for Goodluck even when you know it was the northern turn. Now you are saying north should vote for your candidate, A BIG HYPOCRITE YOU ARE

Hate the man if you like, give cheap black mails about him but you cannot take the fact that Atiku is the most prepared for the job. He has his plans and already avail that to Nigerians for scrutiny. No Godfather or cabal can control or dictate to him (ask G5). Above all, we must say thank you Alaji Tambuwal for the master stroke. You really taught a certain governor how politics is played

Is Atiku coming to be president of the PDP? Why you are saying this is because you are a tribal bigot, take your time read the PDP constitution and make reference to Section 13 3 of Nigeria Constitution, now tell me what your balancing is. Let me remind you Atiku is a Fulani man and if Nigeria suffered from Buhari like this Atiku will be worse.

Why didn’t you stoped Sowore from contesting in 2019 since it was the turn of the north?

LP supporters! You will give yourself BP because of Atiku matter. Lots of you guys are saying Atiku will fail because only half of PDP governors are backing him, so he cannot win without the support of the other five. Then again, you are rooting for Obi to win without any governors support because you believe governors have only one vote each and can’t influence the elctorates. Speaking from two sides of the mouth. Atiku is your president come may 2023

The beauty of democracy is you are free to vote whosoever you believe is the right candidate. Last PDP president was from the south, why should PDP zoned it ticket to the south again.Buhari of APC is from the north, now a southerner is the flag bearer.
What is your complain? These are two different parties, with different constitution. Sowore contested in 2015 and 2019 elections and I never heard any southerner positing that he should drop his ambition because it’s the turn of the north. He contested on a different party, now Atiku is contesting on a different party and you are saying he should drop his ambition for another party. So much hypocrisy

Wike stated that he will not involve himself with the campaign of Atiku. So why is he bitter now? Before wike, PDP has been in existence, PDP made him who he is today. Without Wike, PDP will still exist. Either he joins the Atiku train or he should support any candidate of his choice. That is the beauty of democracy. After all, the people Atiku drafted into his campaign council are from Rivers state. Just because the have diff political view from the governor that makes them enemy of the state. Wike stated severally that he does not want to work for Atiku, yet you are here complaining that you are not being carried along. You are bitter and envious the train has moved on without you. No sitting on the fence, either you hop in or you join PO or BAT. Last last, you will have to account to the people of Rivers on how you were 500 mil to Tambuwal from the rivers treasury, giving millions to Lagos state gov wife (when Lagos is richer than you state) and all manners of squanders. No politician can control the minds of voters 2023. People will vote according to their conscience. So any candidate can win with the highest number of votes. My vote remains for Atiku

You believe that OBi stand a chance of winning without the backing or structures of governors but you don’t believe other candidates can also win without the backing of governors. You equally believe that this election, power is with the electorates and gov only have one vote, yet to believe that Wike with one vote can scupper chances of a particular aspirant. I don’t understand the double standards some of you are applying.

Politics / Re: How Atiku's Ambition Threatens Nigerian Federation by praxs(m): 8:25pm On Oct 23, 2022
Bulleye:
It is no news that Atiku, PDP presidential candidate, violated the constitution of his party when he contested for the presidential ticket of his party. Atiku was until then an advocate of power rotation between the south and the north. It was on the basis of this gentleman's agreement that both he and Buhari, both northerners, contested on the platforms of the two major political parties.

However, due to Atiku's greed and sense of entitlement, he is now saying power rotation does not matter. He is playing both the ethnic and religious cards to win the 2023 presidential election.

Should Atiku emerge Nigeria's president after Buhari, it is certain that will be the beginning of the end of Nigeria. This country cannot survive another government headed by a northerner.

The emergence of Atiku has caused renewed killing by killer herdsmen in the north central.
This is a bad omen for Nigeria. Nigerians should reject Atiku and all what he stands for. He he a time bomb ready to explode.
.

I don’t understand “he violated the constitution of Nigeria”. PDP 1999 to 2007 south
2007 to 2010 north
2010 to 2015 south. How then is he violating the constitution of his party?

Or does what happens in APC influence PDP? If so why no one ever mentioned to Sowore, Moghalu, Buhari and others that have been contesting under different parties to drop their respective ambitions when they were contesting since time memorial? Sowore has been contesting to become the number irrespective of which region is Power since only God knows. I never heard Nigerians calling him out to drop his ambition because a different party zoned their ticket to a particular region.

Finally, get your PVC ready and vote for your choice of candidate. Millions of Nigerians will vote for Atiku, likewise millions will vote for BAT and OBi as well. At the end, the one with the highest vote will win. My vote is for Atiku, if OBi or Bat wins I will congratulate them as far as the election is free and fair. If Atiku wins, feel free to port or wail till thy kingdom come.

What is considered a good income in todays economy. Times are hard, income is shrinking, bills increasing, taxes increasing, security is something else. A family of 3 can manage 250k. A single person can manage 150k. Although location is a factor and mostly likely not much savings one can do from the stated amount

Got me thinking that while some earn as little as 15,000/month, others earn 500,000/monthly. If you earn 15k, your goal is to see that the amount caters your feeding with no any other budget aside. How about if you earn 500k, what do you think you can achieve and how should your budget be for the next one year say.
