you are right!, am just letting the writer know we all as human become lesser desirable after aging sets in but what favours most males is having means, not that they are actually better than women. Most men think it easier to move on and think new partners really like them Most money is the real motivation.

see, men are only attractive because of money, when a woman have good genes and can provide easily for herself, no desperation for companionship. A divorcee lady in mid-forties once visited my office, how the kids and her relate sef is attractive on is own. Nobody should think one gender is better, it things of the mind. Most ladies attracted to me now as a married man are just mostly looking for free money. My wife is pretty and smart, I don't think she would have a problem moving on except she creates unworthy expectations. I will find it hard moving on, because I naturally don't think I like those attracted to me and putting in effort into chances I hate it. I don't easily fall for emotions and I have quite some funny expectations that being young is better than, 33 years and be pretending to call oneself youth, remove money and attractions disappear.

Did the Fulanis conquer the north in one swoop? No. It was a continuous assault until they finally fell, even though the Fulanis also experienced defeats in some of the battles. Yaribas stopping their advancement in one or two battles did not mean that they wouldn't have fallen with reinforcement. Fuel subsidy was removed, and what followed?
Poverty and unbearable hardship. We already pay VAT. Most of us youths are unemployed. Yet, somehow, God gave us wisdom to survive through small businesses, remote jobs, and trading the financial markets opportunities the government never created for us.

We cried about unemployment, we cried about the high cost of living, we cried about insecurity, Still, absolutely nothing is being done, everything in Nigeria remains a struggle.

We struggle to get even the basic things of life in Nigeria, (shelter) house rent wan kee person, (food) person no fit chop balance diet not to talk of 3 square meal a day… etc

To gain admission is hard, to graduate is harder.
To serve your country is another battle. And after all that, no jobs. We kept quiet through it all.
Now, suddenly, they want to tax us. For what exactly?

My pain is that many Nigerians don't even realize how deeply this will hurt us. I have no problem paying tax but only in a country that works, not in this broken system.
I love Nigeria deeply, but I am heartbroken by what our nation has become.

We must speak up against this tax. Look at the interview between Rufai Oseni and Minister of Works, David Umahi, on Arise TV over the cost of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project. Oseni simply ask Umahi for the project's cost per kilometer, a figure he felt the public deserved to know but the minister was not providing… and it turned to heated argument.

Let the government first show us what they did with the money from fuel subsidy before demanding more from us.

And now, we're hearing reports that the current Tinubu administration is gifting over N250 million to each governor defecting to APC, N1 billion to senators, and N500 million to House members, and everyone is quiet?
When will we say enough is enough? What's really going on with us?

What you have posted validates my point. If the quote here was dropped by an Igbo person, that very person in question is the other extreme of Nnamdi Kanu that exists in Igbo land. I'm sure you know there's always two extremes in every human society where freedom of expression exists?

You can't stamp one of the extremes on the people as what they all stand for, even if one extreme is in the majority. The purpose of a sane society made up of multifaceted identities and ideologies is for the central government to work so hard to manage the marriage that no section of the mix will be able to feel underserved.

Of course in my own limitations as a member of the same society, I know it's not possible to have this kind of perfection in totality, if we agree to that, we have made room for dissenters and well meaning people to expose our shortcomings from the inequalities at the forefront of our national consciousness, we'll also have people from here to threaten fire and brimstone because their needs were not met as deemed fit.

Now if the very people who are in the forefront of fighting for their rights to quality existence they imagined possible did so much to have their way, they might actualize their dreams and nothing has been casted in stone that a people do not deserve self rule, before, now, or never will. Something they feel insecured about must have triggered their agitations? What's the threat? Has it been dealt with and they still remain defiant?

As Yoruba, I agree with Awo, that a secession clause should be inserted in the constitution, going by the look of things. Who was Awo afraid of? Has the fear of the time been lost to the generations afterwards? I also defer to Zik, that we can burn our bridges and believe this Nigeria project will work. Am I confused? No, I'm just being divergent in my choices, I have given room enough to allow the interplay of all extremes that could possibly be., believing that the future will create leaders that will be capable enough to deal with all crises that the future will spur.

In this, I am not a slave of the past, it's gone for good. I'm just a hardline student of history. Now my Igbo brothers have done “all sorts of killings” so to say, but the same people are the ones shouting the loudest now for the killings going on in the middle belt. Wait, could these inequalities be the same thing that is inspiring their own agitation for a country of their own to protect their future generations? Please what legislation do you have against futuristic thinking? Are the people shouting the same people confirmed to be behind killings in the East?

The ideologies of African founding fathers were city states, the ideology of our colonial masters was originally an all-inclusive sprawling Commonwealth of their Empires that eventually became independent countries due to their own resources spread thin enough to breaking point of WWI&II, couple with the advent and defiance of the freedom fighters that colonialism created, from where statements like "Zambia must be free" came from. But there is still an underground ideologies ongoing and as such, there's always going to be reactions to it moving forward.

The most visible growing ideology around the world is the ideology of Islam, which is to rule over mankind through religion. The ideology of the Christianity is to make heaven. These two are completive and mutually exclusive. One however allowed for forceful takeover, which is radical Islam. With that, Christianity seems to be an ideology on the way of Islam.

Now if the Igbo have been the loudest people exposing the genocide going on in the middle belt, then they are a people most likely to be, they are a people most likely to love freedom than most people in Nigeria. They are a people who have a lot to lose if the evil going on eventually become all engulfing, they are an African people who still have their society intact as a unit, the worst religious battle will be fought in that country, God forbid if they are to be confronted with the incoming fundamental Islam to the Maghreb.

This is because the Igbo has said over time that they were Jews and you and I definitely know what that means. I don't know of an older source of genealogical history than a written one spanning a millennial that they adhere to as Christians. The Quran did not have a similar span. Now in the scenario where the Jews of Africa meet the fundamental Islam marching to the Maghreb, nobody prays for the consequences. So the Igbo must be the most concerned about the plight of the people of the middle belt.

Already, the Yoruba have been completely immersed with Islam so much that it's just a matter of time before they all become Muslims. Otherwise there's no known Yoruba agenda. We only have the need to be stewards of power and that has been settled. Next is to japa to just any country where a university certificate can earn us a decent livelihood. While we're clueless about what's going on, it's okay to mock the Igbo just to look better and get Kobo Kobo likes that satisfies our dopamine on nairaland and other social media sites switching the narrative to sound wise as long as Igbo is mentioned.

I don't have any grudge against the Yoruba Muslim ummah, or my beautiful Hausa and Fulani neighbors. I will support them to have Sharia in the most densely Islamic states, but when it comes to Fulani militia taking over Hausa land or the middle belt, I know they have a dilemma that their faith has shown them where their sentiments must be, I also understand the insatiable nature of man who makes power their birthright at the expense of peace.

This is my own voice in time like this. The only people who could be heard are the people who don't identify with the people in power. Only fools will want a story told from one point of view that comes from the source that is not doing enough or is complicit in the narrative.
