Good morning experienced mamas.

I am a first time mother and my baby is over 5 weeks.

I am kind of worried my baby doesn't respond to sound. Hubby plays the home theatre very loud sometimes especially when baby is sleeping just to see if he'll be frightened.

Please l want to if it's normal

Team April, help me thank my God o. I have put to birth. Labour pain was for 8 hours , a very bouncing baby boy, weighed 3.55kg , birth was through CS , it was so fast . Thank you all for the prayers , I delivered like the Hebrew women and God honored every of my word.

Congrats to us all.

Finally the Lord did it today. Delivered a bouncing baby boy weighing 3.5kg safely.

Labour lasted from 11am to 3:55pm.
To God be the glory.

I pray of all expectant mothers. They'll surely carry their bundles of joy in Jesus name Amen.

Good evening mamas please m confused about something oo I am already 41 weeks pregnant and the doctor said i should take 2 bottles of castor oil to induce labour but m reading online that it might nt be entirely advisable nd More so online they said tablespoons not the whole bottle I just dont know what to do ....I hv taken pineapple oo trekked oo everything I don't know y my baby doesn't want to come nd my mom is even making me worry more since she never had any of us past 39weeks...how come my own is different bikonu

I thought I was the only one o. We currently in week 41 and I have loosed my mucus plug(without any blood stain) for 3 days and didn't see it today. No sign of labour yet. I've trekked round the field too.
Maybe I'll just add the castle oil and pineapple (though I don't like pineapples)

Myself and hubby is worried as there is no sign of labour pain yet even though I've been seeing crystal clear discharge since on Friday and baby's kicking has become mild while the pains around my pelvic is something else.

I just want to know if anyone has experienced this and if it's normal.
My next date for antenatal is supposed to be Wednesday but I am considering going for inducement before then.

A nurse friend prescribed paludrine 1*2 daily, amoxil 1*3 daily vitamin c, paracetamol and multivitamin for me.
I've taken the paludrine for 3 days now but a pharmacist just made me know that paludrine isn't safe during pregnancy.

Pls I want to know if I'm at any risk

They shouldn’t ideally cause problems with conception but can be an issue during intercourse. They can also cause an issue during pregnancy if not treated.
For ecoli, you can use either trimethoprim or nitrofurantoin if no allergies. Your choice for yeast treatment depends on your preference, miconazole vagina cream or Pessaries should be ok.

My husband said he had a dream where in himself and his two sisters were going somewhere like a church at agbara. When they got to a bus-stop which is before the one they are to stop, the sisters had a little quarrel and as such the younger one went her separate way. They (himself and the immediate younger sister) got to a building beautiful where members of their church were discussing and coming out from.

I have been TTC for over 6months now
I was advised to do pelvic scan and later HVS and Urine test. The results showed there's heavy presence of staph, ecoli and yeast infection.

I am yet to take it to the clinic to see a gynecologist. Could these bacteria be the reason for the delayed conception?
What drugs can I buy to treat these infections?

Okay..... His count is good but it can be improved. His morphology needs little improvement. His progressive motility should be upto 50%

Viscosity is bad... It shouldn't be watery

Morphology/shape is perfect

Does he smoke or drink? If yes, he needs to work on it.
He should be taking more fruits, veggies

Other Sabi mamas will tell you the drugs to improve his sperm motility.

Hope your fallopian tubes are okay?
