What appointment letter?

The letter or mail you get that gives you your date of visa interview. It states there the category you applied for and your application number and whether BSc, MSc, PhD etc

my very good friend also went today for her interview and she wasn't sent back...she told me the VO asked her about the category she booked , she said category A..she also went with HND....the VO checked her appointment letter and asked her when she booked, she told him may 31 so the VO told her she is lucky because no category was stated on her appointment letter.

This is the definition of God's grace. The category did not appear on the letter and that changed everything. I tap from God's abundant grace in her life IJN. Pls drop her interview transcript for us even if it is second hand.

Fidelity Bank allows form A to be used to fund block account(i.e upkeep /living allowance) but the problem is not getting furnished with the prevailing rate as at the period of my inquiry. See the requirement for funding the block account through Fidelity Bank below

Sorry i am unable to reply your PM, i am still seriously weighing different option now because of the uncertainty of fidelity bank exchange rate for the form A, I was able to contact their customer care to inquire about the exchange rate for form A but it seems they are hoarding the exchange right which to me is discouraging because i can't make such a transaction without knowing the exchange rate. As at the moment i am moving from bank to bank to find out the cheapest means of funding the block account. once i succeed i will pass the massage across here to the benefit of every one. They will not give you a specific figure, only a range. The price changes per day/ hour. They will use the price at the point of converting your naira. That is if it will work for blocked account.

bros oil they your head I shared what am 100% and am specific the person booked cat A and his going for bsc and he has HND in his word he said the first question was what are you going for BSC or msc and what cat did you book and she brought out the book while he was trying to explain she said let me ask my boss she did and the boos said he can't be on cat A in his word he didn't do the interview so hes going back home to SE where he came from for the interview

Like seriously! Was he asked why he booked category A or what evidence he has to support category A?

I had a deal with a friend going for BSC to book with category A meanwhile he used HND to get AL. He was turned back by the VO cos he booked wrong cat so I will advise all to do normal. I know many people won't believe this story well I am giving a 100% that happened it's left for us to take it or leave it I won't even argue with anyone

Ehn Ehn. Now this is information. It means it was not at the gate he was turned back. This absolves the other guys who were there for their own interview from knowing. What transpired between the VO and the candidate can only be known by the candidate. Please let us help one another with info. God bless.

Hey guys, I'm still expecting my admission letter, can I book a visa appointment without one? Since we have been advised to book 2-3 months ahead. Does it matter the date you put as the date you are to begin your study visit?

All of us on this platform are so funny. Why is it so difficult for the guys who have gone for interview to come out here and state categorically if they were asked to produce evidence to support the category they booked or not? If the previous guys in Part 1-5 had hoarded information as we are doing here now, i doubt if we would have all joined this part 6. Diaris God oh!

You can use a testimonial in place of the leaving certificate

What I'm not sure of is the email States that I must submit my application form at the appointment but the problem here is I don't have any application form attached to the appointment email.

What is your enrollment date. This appointments look like they dont have any pattern to them. Congrats in advance.

Are you still doing same job? Just ask your office to issue you a letter stating that you work for them. If they are also willing to state that they will give you a study leave till you return from your ? Masters study, better. This will show that you have a job waiting for you back home in Nigeria.
I dont think this employment letter is a request on the checklist oh!

Don’t staple the visa forms, mr paulinus does that, but your personal documents like your transcript, cv which is originally stapled is not an issue, my transcript, cv and declaration of age ( both original and 2 photocopies) were stapled individually

I also noticed there is a list of those scheduled for interview with just your name, email address, phone number and passport number
There was nothing like category on the list paulinus had

Please can you throw more light on this issue of not stapling documents. Did you have any document with 2 or more pages either original or photocopy?

First one looks more authentic. Those who have received should know. I know. I am keeping the date to my self. I know there are enemies of progress here.
Make sure you go for the first one on the 12th. In the off chance they got it mixed up and bounce you, you can then return the next day.
Note, the second one said time between x and y. The authentic one has only one time.
God is still on the throne and it shall end in praise.

I remember he posted the link here, he was excited with the date and only wanted to share the news with us. so didn't remember to filter out the link. I don't blame him at all, d info was helpful and inspired many of us then.
He will still get another date, people that booked yesterday before close of work at the embassy, all got date and u know the embassy uses scattered logarithm to give dates, so he might even get an earlier date in June or July, worse come to worse, early August
So is not a hopeless situation, premiercares, I hope you have done the needful already, sorry for what happened, you will certainly be fine By Monday, Relax

I posted the link in error on Monday when i posted a copy of my mail to show it was only one proof required. I later deleted the link and ask the 2 members who quoted me to delete too, which they did. Apparently someone else had coped it. Well God is still on the throne.

Euro was N404 then.

Even at that, GTB said there was CBN restriction of €1,000 cash deposit per week into an Euro-denominated account. So, direct funding of the Euro account using Aboki's cash deposit was not practical. It would take 9 weeks to fund €8829. Crazy!

A way around it was to open a dollar account, buy dollar from Aboki ($1=N360) and fund the dollar account. Dollar-denominated account can accept $10,000.00 per day.

FX conversion and transfer was then made from a dollar account to Euro account - no restrictions. Then the bank charges you their transaction fees of about 23k with GTB. You can instruct them in the form to deduct the charges from your Naira account so that your Euro amount is intact.

From your Euro account, it then flies out smoothly to Fintiba or whatever BA operator you choose. With Fintiba, you get notified within 24 hours that your Euro has landed.

Ask your bank to take their transaction cost from your naira account. GTB/Stanbic allows you to give this instruction. That way your Euro transferred is intact.

Good day. For raising Euro, pls note
1. You can ask the local forex guys (aboki) to exchange and transfer euro to your domiciliary euro acct. Note that there is difficulty with cash transaction. There is a cap to how much euro cash you can pay into your acct per day. This online transaction will come at a higher cost usually about 5 naira above buying euro as cash
2. You can also do form A from your bank. The rate varies depending on Bank. Shop around. StanbicIBTC allows you to do this even with a saving account.

So you are on the right track. Do not cancel your initial booking.

You can still book for category A if:
1. You have Testas 2. You have German language B2 as stated

Guys please who has really confirmed this big bone on our neck concerning this category issues, because that scholarship check box is not something we should overlook, no matter how we try to convince ourselves of it not being an issue, Germans dont make such obvious mistakes about there policies and they stick with their decisions no matter what with no apologies , so it's either you obey or be thrown out, so it's better for us to dedicate our resources to finding out the truth and be sure of what we are doing than taking blind risk and start feeling sorry for ourselves later.

I posted an invitation letter earlier today to show that no mention was made of scholarship. It said 'possession of ONE of ....... Requirement.
