Mariangeles:
I don't know what to say

descarado:

Actually, they dissolve into the food and has good aroma after cooking.
Aside europe and North America that, I'm not too sure, every other continent or country cook with this in forms of pastes or dry as ours

I read here one time that a certain landlord in the West don't rent out his house to Africans Cos of this .

It's a probiotics and as such one of the healthiest thing to enter your mouth.

Depending on how the cook used it, if I give you food prepared with it, u will lick your fingers

My Mama once use it to make stew some years back, though she cried that very day, because the stew was smelling, so we insulted her for using it.

Don't blame the landlord

If you have a building close to a neighbour, like you are staying in a floor, then another person is staying close to you,(like three or more families occupying same floor) you don't cook with such ingredients, because the smell will go to the next apartment immediately they open their doors or windows. Definitely they will report you.

Not all apartment though.

Mariangeles:
Please please please tell me you did not have it with rice or pasta...

You're welcome.

I was not having that time to cook rice, so we drank it like that

I do but not very often. I just don't like mashed fish in meals. I prefer the fish in one piece or smaller pieces.

Will you like to try mussels only without fish?
